Marigold gave Elijah his clean tunic, kneeling down. "I met your Father while I was a slave. He and I." she murmured, looking down slightly.
Huntress blinked softly, looking down as Drake smashed into them. "Well well...A little mouse hm? Young sturdy..." she said, getting on one knee. "Yes, quite the handsome young thing aren't you? Are...you lost, child?" she asked. That was her game sometimes, find them, and pretend to be kind.

"No," snapped Drake, standing up and dusting his tunic off. "I'm runnign away. I want to find my father, MArtin teh WArrior." He held his head high.
Kales eyes flew wide open. Martin teh Warrior!
Elijah satred for a moment. "R-really? Wow..." He had never known that.

Huntress was just as surprised as Kale, but hid it well. "Martin? Well, now that you mention it...You look just like Martin The Warrior! Doesn't he Kale?" she asked, shootign a sly glance at her companion.
Marigold frowned, giving a sigh. "But, it's a story for another day, sweetie. Come on, let's go before those scones get cold, hm?" she smiled a little bit, not very up for it now. "I'll show you and Hope something later tonight from back then, if you like."

Drake's eyes were untrusting but he said, "I wouldn't know. NEver met him."
"He does," Kale said slyly.
Elijah nodded eagerly. "Okay!" He had never known his father but everyone else seemed ot remember him. "Can we visit MArtin sometime?" He'd met Martin in REdwall long ago and loved the stories he'd heard. He headed inside.

Huntress looked shocked for a moment, eyes wide. "Never met your own Father? Dear, what kind of cruel beast would deny you that privilege, no, that right?"
Marigold couldn't help but widen her smile at her son's eagerness. At the mention of Martin, she nodded. "Yes, Elijah. We'll visit soon." she promised as she followed her son inside.

Drake became defiant. "I don't need any beast's hlep! Especially my father!" He spat on teh ground.
Elijah smiled adn sat down, banging his fork ont eh table. "Food! Food Food!"

Huntress backed off slowly, the surprise very evident on her face. "We're not saying you need help, darling." she murmured "All we're saying is that you're looking for your Father, yes? You have to go a more southwestern route."
Hope giggled, she and her Mother bringing the tray onto the table. The scones were dripping with honey, shining like gold in the soft lighting of the kitchen.
Marigold chuckled, producing a large knife from behind her back. "Who's first?" she asked

Huntress smiled lightly. "Last I heard of Martin the warrior, he was with a bunch of mice, in funny robes," she of course referred to the Loamhedge mice "Building a big sandstone house! It's in Mossflower woods, dear."
Marigold looked at her daughter, chuckling. "He's been through enough today, Hope."
Hope nodded, her mother helping to cut out a pice of the scone, putting it onto Elijah's plate. "It's hot." she warned

Huntress' features became hard as Drake turned southwest. But, she smiled, knowing she had sent him to the border of Mossflower, but right to her Fortress.
Marigold smiled softly, letting Hope sit down, giving her a piece before cutting off some for herself.
Hope giggled, "Mamma! Your paws are dirty!"

Elijah chuckled. "Wash your paws Mommy," he teased, slapping her paw with his fork lightly.

Huntress chuckled underneath her breath. "Come on now, plenty more young beasts to 'recruit'" she grinned toothily.
Marigold gave a light yell, pretending to look hurt. "Geez, my own children.." she grumbled, going over to a bowl of water, washing her paws. She continued to grumble comically.

Huntress "Grinned, You think the wall guards wouldn't know a handout when they saw it?" she showed the paw she had placed on Drake, an inky 'H' was on it. "Kale, I sent him with a seal...!" she washed it off with a handkerchief. "Now, you go one way, and I'll go the other...We'll meet back here." Huntress placed a dagger into a tree, the ruby in it shining. "Barter, kill, do whatever you must."
Marigold stuck her tongue out at her children, Hope beginning to laugh.
