Name: Takhi (Native American Algonquin meaning for "cold")
Gender: female
Age: same as Kayiya, maybe a few months younger

Personality: a bit shy and calm, she is a reflective one because she wants to be sure if she is doing the right thing or not, wise for her age, she's intelligent and wants to know everything that interest her, she enjoys a lot howling and staying with the pack, she likes staying with other canines and doesn't like staying alone or being abandoned, she has a special clue for puppys, infact she enjoys a lot playing with them!

How they joined the pack ("they were already a member" is acceptable): she was born in another pack and lived for a few time with it, but the alpha of the old pack treated her very bad, considering her as a hindrance, he didn't leave her a possibility to show that she was also a memeber of the pack, so she escaped. She met Kayiya's pack after a week that she left, she told to Kayiya and her family why she was alone and that she was good with pups and they allowed her to join the pack.

How they feel about Kayiya, etc.: she respects Kayiya, she sees he like her savior, the one welcomed her in the pack, the one did not leave her alone, she stayed very close to her, becaming Kayiya's closest friend, she is very loyal to her, following Kayiya everywhere and giving her halp or suggestions when she needs them.

History: she was born during the winter (that's the why of her name), in a small pack at the beginning of the forest, the alpha was a young one that didn't like kids and that's why he always "tortured" Takhi, she couldn't do anything that made him angry, she asked the other members a lot of times why the male didn't like her, she wanted to know if she did something wrong but the wolves always changed argument or anwered a different question, she could see that they were scared when she asked that question and so, she was more confused...in spring the pack captured some deers, a lot, to feed all the members, Takhi was always ate after the alphas and the betas but this time, the male alpha didn't let her eat, and this for three days...the fourth day she escaped, yeah escaped because she was living like a prisonier, and for a young female that wasn't life...she stopped in the forest, near a lake, far from that pack and where she met Kayiya and the others.
Origin of the character: an old char gave by a friend to me, I originally want to use her in a fanfic, not dedicated to her, just as a character in the fic and I drew her a bit, not very ofter...when I started writing the fic, I saw that I didn't have a role for her anymore and from that moment I didn't use her...

Name: Bara (??????) [Female Hebrew name meaning "to chose"]
Gender: Female
Age: Same as Kayiya, may be a month older
Personality: She is a good follower, she never dreamed of leading something. She is very friendly. She hates hunters a lot because of very good reason (see "History"). She has no mate and no pups. She doesn't like to fight, but when she needs to protect herself, she fights, but only when she have to.
How they joined the pack ("they were already a member" is acceptable):Bara was a loner, but she wanted to join a pack so one day she met Kayiya and asked her if she doesn't know leader of pack and where she can find one. Kayiya just looked at her and said "I Am the leader.What do you want?" and Bara asked her if she could join her pack. Kayiya didn't agree first but she gave her a chance and when she saw her ability, she decieded to take her to the pack.
How they feel about Kayiya, etc.: Bara respects Kayiya a lot. As I said, she is a good follower. She needs someone to lead her. She also respects everyone in the pack. She is very faithful. She can keep a secret.
History: Bara was born in second litter of her parents and her parents loved her a lot. She grew up with her parents but then a hunter killed them and all her siblings. She was the only one who survived. She was sad and so she left the territory of her family. She didn't want to think on that anymore and their territory always makes her think on that. How she joined Kayiya's pack I wrote in "How they joined the pack".
Origin of the character: I made her for this contest, because I have got lots of GSDs characters, but I don't have any wolf. So, I need one and I like to join contests!

Name: Mitzi
Gender: Female
Age: 8
Personality: A pessimistic and a critic, Mitzi tends to be somewhat of a grouch. She's the type to sit at the back of the pack and mutter away about what the other wolves could be doing better. She doesn't act on her criticism, though, and doesn't enjoy trying to work to fix any problems she may have with the pack. She blames a lot of things on her elderly age, as well as her lazy nature.
How they joined the pack ("they were already a member" is acceptable): She... was already a member xD She joined the pack when she was younger and Wit and Jerome were still leading.
How they feel about Kayiya, etc.: Mitzi isn't too sure what to think of Kayiya. She still sees her as the pup she was born as. Sure, Mitzi respects her, but only by a smudge more than she respects the other members of the pack [just because she doesn't want to get kicked out xD]
History: Mitzi was born to a small pack into a litter of four. She was the "middle-pup" and wasn't the strongest nor the weakest. She always viewed her life as relatively boring and always wanted a bit of adventure but, then again, doesn't every pup? She never really got the adventure she had wanted and so, after her parents died and the third-eldest of her siblings took over, Mitzi left the pack in search of a new life, where she stumbled across Wit and Jerome's pack. They allowed her to join and so she settled in. Over the years, she grew even more bored with life, but realized she was too attached to the current pack she was in to move, so she stayed in the pack. Half of her regrets never moving out and finding a mate, though half of her is glad she has found a home that is comfortable - enough.
Origin of the character: I made her up for this contest ^^

Personality:A bit shy and calm, but she is outgoing and adventurous too. Not very good at sniffing prey and hunting but she good at stalking.She is good listener. She never disobey Kayiya's command,she tries her best to be a loyal pack mate. She brave enough to attacking someone that make she mad although she never fight with other pack mate before.
How they joined the pack ("they were already a member" is acceptable):she hate to be loner wolf because she didn't have any friend to talk to. She loved to seeing Kayiya's ability to fight and running.She is too kind to everyone in the pack even to her bad sister, Terra.
How they feel about Kayiya, etc.:She respect her as a leader and as a teacher. She never disobey her because she need her to lead, to listened and to teached about everything the pack needs to survive.
History:She is the third oldest pup from her litter.All of her siblings is very active not like her(she is calm).Her mother is really loved her than her other siblings because she is very loyal,good listener and calm but sadly her mother was killed by a hunter when she is one month old.
Origin of the character: I want to send a second bio for this contest because I think it's better than one entry and I want to design Terra a sibling.

Name: Kavan

Gender: Male

Age: 6 years old

Personality: Overly protective of Giesha, experienced fighter, can be ticked off easily

How he joined the pack: Already a member

How he feels about Kayiya: He doesn't like her at all, and he always gets in her way on purpose just to get her mad.

History: Kavan grew up with just his father, since his mother died at pup birth. His father was never nice to him, because he blamed his son for killing his mate. Kavan became bitter inside, and he never really wanted anything to do with females. He was the bad boy growing up, and when his father died he got even worse. He trusted nobody, and he never had any real friends. And when Kayiya became pack alpha, he didn't want a female to lead. He felt that he was stronger. He never liked her, but when he was about three years old, Giesha and her mother came into the pack. He fell in love with Giesha, but he had a reputation that she didn't like. He tried and tried to turn himself around, and when he finally did, she realized how much he wanted her. He would give up his old life for Giesha. They fell in love at age five, (two years later) and they had three puppies. But when Kayiya found out he was becoming a softie instead of the tough, mean Kavan, she tried to tear them up. The rest is up to you, Cat!

Origin: I don't really know what origin means, but Kavan is a developed character that I've had for a while.

That was Kavan, now let's move on to Giesha...


Name Giesha

Gender: Female

Age: 6 years old.

Personality: Kind and caring, compassionate for others, hates Kayiya tho.

How she joined the pack: Kayiya made her and her mother go through a test to gain entry. She made Giesha swim across a river, but what little Giesha didn't know was that the river was full of poisonous fish and other dangerous things. Giesha did it, but she nearly died doing it. A swarm of fish came and almost ate her alive. Kayiya wanted to get rid of anyone who might take her throne as alpha, even if they aren't going to anyway. Kayiya made Giesha's mother, Bethany, catch Kayiya an Alaskan elk. They are very rich in flavor an protein, but Kayiya knew they weren't going to give up easily. Alaskan elk are strong and reckless creatures that would kill to protect their herd. Bethany DID come back with one, but when she came back, she was covered in blood and dirt. Bethany collapsed and died right there. Giesha still had entry tho.

How she feels about Kayiya: Giesha hates Kayiya for killing her mother, and for nearly killing her. But it is a deep hate, kind-of like a deep cut that will never go away.

History: Well, I gave you some already XD but here's some that I left out. Giesha was part of a pack with her mother. Her father only wanted to get near Bethany, but it brought along a pup. The father ran away before Giesha was born. So, she never really had a real father to start with. Bethany and Giesha went off to find a new pack when they found Kayiya's. Bethany wanted Giesha to be safe in a pack, so when Kayiya told Bethany to catch an Alaskan elk or be both kicked out, she did it. Before Bethany died, she knew it was what she had to do to save Giesha. When Giesha got a few months older, she started to notice Kavan. He was the bad boy of the pack, but when she told him she wasn't interested with his horrible reputation, he completely went 180. He turned his life around just to have her.

Origin: Like I said before, I'm not sure what origin means but she is a real developed character.

Name: Kapvik
Gender: Male
Age: a little younger then Kayiya
Personality: very quiet. often mistaken for just plainly dumb, he is actually just a thinker, not a speaker. he is extremely loyal to his leader and friends, although he doesn't nessisarily have any. he is a skilled fighter, but just like he is quiet and has a lot to say, he will not fight unless there is no other choice around it. if you actually manage to get his cool head mad, you better watch out!
How they joined Pack: was found
How they feel about Kayiya, etc: He is extremely loyal to Kayiya. He actually had a crush on her for the longest time and absolutely HATED Kita. When Kita tried to kill Kayiya, Kapvik went crazy. He's probably one of the wolves that injured Kita the worst after she was kicked out of the pack. He's neutral with the rest of the pack but won't reject an offer of friendship. However, those of the pack that treated him unfairly, he has held a grudge against, and he is one wolf you do not want to cross.
History: Kapvik was abandoned as a pup, and by some miracle, was actually able to survive alone. That molded him into what he now is: he was used to not having anyone to talk too, so is silent, honed his own fighting skills by defending himself, and grew tough from being exposed to the elements. However, when he accidentally stumbled upon Wit and Jerome's pack, he sucked up his own desire to be an alpha and proved his usefulness to the pack before he was accepted. One of the reasons he did that was because he had his eye on Kayiya.

Name: Kapik (Inuit term meaning 'coffee')
Gender: Female
Age: A few months younger than Kayiya
Personality: Headstrong, judgemental, haughty, brutely honest, and impulsive.
How they joined the pack: Whenever she grew to the appropriate age to leave her former pack, she wondered the forests in search of a mate to start her own pack, but instead came across Kayiya's pack. She was a bit unsure if she wanted to join the ranks or continue being a loner, but her mind was made up shortly after she figured wondering would be pointless.
How they feel about Kayiya, etc.: She feels as though Kayiya is her role model. She always agrees with that she has to say, even though she can be oblivious to what is actually being said, and thinks that Kayiya is always right.
History: Kapik never knew her real parents. When she was born in late summer, she was one of a litter of five. Since this was her mother's first time having kids, she was so inexperienced that eventually the litter dropped down to two pups, Kapik herself and her older brother, Unalaq. Kapik had it rough for the first few days of her life, having little milk from her mother, who had not yet felt the maternal instinct to nurture her young. It wasn't long before a more experienced female wolf took the pups off of Kapik's mother's worries and raised them herself. Life had gone by without anything of interest, other than seeing and hearing the world for the first time. But one night, Kapik's foster mother got caught in a snare, leaving the young Kapik to yet another foster mother, who was the former fostser's step-sister. For about eight months Kapik and her brother lived with their second foster mother, who was named Panik. She learned how to hunt and track during this time, that is until Panik was killed by a poacher while on a hunting trip. Once again, Kapik and Unalaq go into foster care by a wondering couple who were more than happy to care for the brother and sister. It wasn't until Kapik had reached the age of two that she was able to separate from her foster parents and set out to look for another pack to join, or a mate to start her own. This is when she stumbled upon Kayiya's pack.
Origin of the character: Kapik was originally going to be in Midnight Fable (my totally revised comic that has yet to be started) as a younger sibling to the lead warrior of the pack, Tonrar, and eventually die from being shot. I still haven't fully made up her purpose or anything, so she's open to anything, really.
