Balto chuckled and started chasing after his pups.
"Quick in here!" yelled Tiga from a hole in the boat too small for Balto to get in, she slunk back into it.
Fang nodded. "I'm good." he said. "Hows mom doing?"

Tiga chuckled. "He'll never get us in here." she whispered. She saw something fuzzy, black, and with a white stipe curled up near them. "Hey what's that?" she asked. IT was a skunk but the pups had never seen one before, they knew a skunk was a creature that could spray a terrible smell but didn't know what one looked like.
Fang shruged. "Nothing much, maybe go on a mail run or something."

Tiga gagged and ran out of the hole. "Eew!" she exclaimed. She caught up to her brother. She put her paw over her nose. "PU! I think that must of been one of those skunks papa warned us about." she said.
Balto caught up to his pups. "Hey what's-." he caught of wiff of Blazer and covered his nose with his paw. "Ugh." he said. "Jenna!" he called.

"We hid in a whole I think there was one of those skunk thingies in it." said Tiga. "Blazer got sprayed." she said. "And now he's really stinky." she said. "I'm not sleeping next to him if he smells like that tonight."

Tiga also stayed upwind from her brother. "Momma, how are we gonna get that nasty smell off Blazer?" she asked.
Boris chuckled to Balto. "That is why I am being glad birds have a poor sense of smell." he said.
"You're lucky." said Balto. "Muk, Luk, we've got a skunk living in the boat, any ideas on how to get it out without getting sprayed?"
"So dad." said Fang. "How long until my baby siblings are due?"
