Feather placed half of the leaves on the side of his body was showing and waited for five minutes, " Now, we will need to flip you over some how." She said. "Do you have a plan on how to flip him over?" She asked.

Mike coughed again.
"Yes, I think so. I do feel a bit better."
Mike stood up shakily with Helga and Feather supporting him. He cringed in pain, then tipped onto his other side.

Feather and Helga gently put him down and Feather put the rest of the leaves on him. In about five more minutes, he was completely healed, and he could stand up without a problem. She smiled and had a tear of joy run down her cheek, " Now, wasn't that nice." She said out loud to herself and smiled.

Mike was amazed how well the plant had worked. He discovered them one day while treking the woods, and kind of endorsed them.
"So where do we go now?"
"We must pass the great mountains and find the caribou."
"Wait a minute. You're coming, too? what about your den?"
"With time comes new items, but friends must stay strong."

Mike felt sorry for Feather. She wanted to be independant, but Helga was always holding her back, and ordering her around. Mike respected the seer vixen, though. He had learned to trust her predictions with his life.
"Feather. You know Helga means well. Please, just say one last farewell to that dog...for me?"

Feather huffed and went over to where Blizzard was, " Blizzard, I'm running away. Bye." She said and ran back to them.
He was awestruck but he still said something, " What?! Leaving? Why would yo-." Before he could finish, she was gone.
When she got back she said, " Ok. He has been said good-bye to." She said.

She smiled, " Ok. Your welcome Mike. I was where they were when I was a pup but they might have migrated also, so, don't hound on me for leading you the wrong way when we get there ok?" She asked and started to use her nose. When they were almost half way there, she found a decent size den that they could all stay in for the night, " Here. We will stay here for the night. Now, I'm going to go hunt." She left the den and came back in five minutes with a doe deer in his mouth. Big enough for them to finish in the night, " There. Now, we will have to find food in the morning again." She said and took the first part of her meal then stepped back and let the others eat. She licked the blood off her lips and went to a corner, layed down and slept almost instantly.

Mike was glad when they stopped. He was still achy all over and his would was beginning to hurt and itch. He ate the deer meat greedily and afterward was asleep in seconds.
Helga was studying a deer bone, humming quietly.
"We will be in for a storm sometime tomorrow. The great land will be covered in much more snow. We shall be alright for the moment, however."
