Rather like the argument in this topic. For the most part JC manages to "grin and bear it" with some of the stuff posted on this site...apparently he's not even allowed to show a little distaste towards a subject at all. Look, all he said was he thought it was immature and disrespectful to laugh at these laws but he did agree that they're funny. Just didn't like the fact a lot of people were pretty much "Lol! Look how stupid that is! Person who made it must've been thick!" or words to that effect anyway. He didn't flame or threaten or have a go at anyone. It is a forum and when making a topic you have to accept not everyone will agree and also accept that those people are fine to post and say so. It's not against the rules to disagree.

Listen, I never had a problem with him or anyone else disagreeing, but I do have a problem with people saying things that are rude and then when an argument arises because of it that person starts to blame everyone except him/herself even though they started it!! And no, I guess I just could not let it slip. I know he's gotten disrespect from people in the past but I don't see how him complaining constantly about it is gonna help anyone. I find it very annoying.

Ugh. To be honest, it seems more like making a big deal out of nothing. So, he thinks it's immature. He didn't just post and say "You're all immature kids and haven't got a clue!". He just posted that he didn't agree with it and why but also agreed that a few are funny. He then went on to say that he didn't like how a lot of kids and teens these days make light of history - and they do - and that he felt it was immature. He didn't actually call anyone in this topic immature. Plus he was correct when he said no one in this topic was actually bothering why they were made or when, just laughing at them/about them.

He didn't actually call anyone in this topic immature. Plus he was correct when he said no one in this topic was actually bothering why they were made or when, just laughing at them/about them. I don't see what the big deal is with making fun of history every now and then. And the whole thing about not bothering why they were made and when is not what this topic is really about. Like I said earlier, if he has to be so defensive about history and doesn't like how it's not being talked about the way he wants then nobody is forcing him to get involved with this topic. By him going on a topic that's gonna get him so upset, he's just setting the stage for flame wars and people getting angry at him. And by the way, I never tried to start a war with him on this topic or any other for that matter. It seems that every time I try to talk to him he calls me a flamer. Now, I would like to get back on topic and stay on topic from now on!!

Ohio: It is illegal to get a fish drunk. No one may be arrested on Sunday or on the Fourth of July. It is illegal to walk a cow down Lake Road. It is illegal for stores to sell corn flakes on Sunday. It's illegal to catch mice without a hunting license! You cannot eat a doughnut and walk backwards on a city street. Throwing a snake at anyone is illegal. (funny)

Graystripe wrote: No one may be arrested on Sunday or on the Fourth of July. I wonder if someone can use that as an excuse? While I'm sure that had a purpose I think that if it already hasn't been removed as a law it really should be soon. Graystripe wrote: It is illegal to get a fish drunk. I'd like to know how that is even possible.
