There's also the question of who she would ultimately choose, since she wouldn't necessarily pick the best possible guy. After all, not all girls are smart (no offense to any who read this). Nice sexist comment xD However, one would argue that there's always someone better for you than the one you end up with. Does that mean they're unhappy or dissatisfied? Well if you've ever seen Fantastic Mr. Fox, there's a prime example right there. Even in Howl's Moving Castle, the Witch of the Waste tells the prince "It looks like your true love is in love with someone else." (Like a true man/prince, he doesn't sob about it, he moves on. Very admirable.)

Let me be clear, I'm not saying that there are more stupid girls than stupid guys (although with girls being a 51% majority last I heard, the numbers might bear that out). I'll be the first to admit I've been stupid too, especially in relationships.
As for what you said, about getting one's "second choice," that's a good point too. And it can be beneficial in the end. I can think of multiple occasions when if I had gotten my first choice (and not just in relationships), it would have ended badly. Well, I'm not talking about first or second choices. But your comment was indeed saying "Dusty's an idiot if she ends up with Ralph" simply because you don't "believe" he's the "best" choice. I'm rooming with a couple right now who were each others' first choices since they were 14. Is there someone better suited towards them? Yea, people argue that, but it doesn't matter cuz they love each other and they're happy.

Whether Kodi or Ralph is the better choice for her (and you can use whatever means of evaluation you want to define "best," without changing the truth of this statement), it's possible for her to end up with the lesser pick, as it were. And assuming she could have either one, from a purely cognitive perspective choosing the lesser one would indeed be an unwise choice.

Well you yourself haven't given a valid point why it would be "unwise" of Dusty to like Ralph better than Kodi. (Well your "argument" is that Kodi's just a better person. So? I love this person, but just cuz I love him more than Mr. Perfect, it makes both of us unholy beings apparently.) I made a very good point and you just failed to acknowledge it by retaliating by saying 'well its stupid cuz kodi's better anyway' making poor Ralph seem like the ultimate antagonist of B3.

For someone so derisive of a "black-and-white" view of life, you seem to have trouble grasping when I refer to a grey area. I am not saying that Ralph is bad, just that he isn't as good. Nor did I ever say that it would be "unholy" to choose a nine instead of a perfect ten (or, since tens are so rare anyway, perhaps I should say an eight instead of a nine). All I'm saying is that, whatever scale you use to evaluate a prospective mate, if you choose the lesser then it's something other than logic guiding your selection. Not that emotion is entirely bad either, although it tends to be so inconsistent that it often leads to trouble unless there is some practicality to back it up.
Of course, one might argue that there are perfectly logical reasons for choosing a "lesser" individual. For example, it might make one feel more needed and/or less overshadowed by their flawless figure of a spouse. Or, depending on the circumstances, lack of competition could have its appeal. The catch there is that if that's your measure, then the order is simply rearranged, and the lesser comes out with the greater appeal.
As for why Kodi would be more desirable, I've already pointed out that whatever qualities he might have had, Ralph had nothing to offer in the way of persistence. If he raised pups at all like he pulled a sled, it wouldn't go very well.
Of course, I've been offering that argument for years, and the best you've yet offered is your tired old story that I, like all who prefer Kodi, am secretly biased against the overweight (or the "pleasantly plump," as you like to put it). So please, if you want me to consider you worth talking to any further, offer something other than a futile ad hominem maneuver. It may help you sleep at night, but you're not really fooling anyone willig to give it two seconds' thought.

To be honest, I'm not too crazy about it either, not when people push it to extremes - by which I mean, "Oh, so-and-so just HAS to have someone because being single isn't cool." I mean, DL has said I'm a "hopeless romantic" (I disagree; I'm usually quite optimistic on this stuff), but I can honsetly see Kodi as a confirmed bachelor, or Dusty as a confirmed bachelorette, for that matter. But I figure if there's gotta be pairings (and apparently some people won't be happy without those), I say Kodi and Dusty seems best.

Oh, no's, not another one. for goodness sake, does it really matter that much? Like, what DT, said, everyone, doesn't have to have a mate, but it's only natural for a girl and a guy to be attracted to each other, if Dusty ended up with Ralph, some people who push to the extremes would get mad because Kodi's supposed to be "the one" and vice versa, as far as size goes, I'd say Kodi and Dusty, but if she were with Ralph, I wouldn't twist it, I'm just content, that she be with either, but, my preferred is her and Kodi, they look better than some of the others I've seen, (to say that lightly.)
