A dark furred femme, of exquisit figure, quickly trotted her way to Steele. Her sparkling emeral auds brightly capsaed Steele's frame. She had a soft smile on her lips. "great job honey" she said as she stood up besides her mate. "you were the best, again" she murmered quietly into his ear before letting her rough, yet warm tonge caresse his snout, melting away the small bits of snow. She wagged her tail proudly of him then looked at her son, identical to Steele and chuckled, gently nibbling his small black ears "dont worry sweety, you will be just like your father" She nodded re assuringly.

Kirby was torn at the moment. One part of him wanted to join with his team and "pound-out" their differences with Steele, and the other part of him didn't want to upset Twilight and get her mad at him. Reluctantly, he decided to leave for now and go home.
As he passed by Steele on the way he briefly muttered in his ear saying "this isn't over by a long shot. Someday I will get you for this". While he tried to say that so no one else would hear him, he was pretty sure that Twilight, who was right near him heard everything because of the way she looked at him when he was leaving. On the way out he gave Cooper a slight push as one final gesture of bad-will to let him know how Kirby hated him as much as Steele.

Lili listened to them all and shook her fur as the musher unhooked her from the lead. She narrowed her bright green eyes at Kirby and after he had shoved Cooper while passing, Lili snarled and snapped at him in a warming. She walked forward and glanced over Steele and his family, she smiled lightly, "Good job Steele." She said to her lead dog and rolled her shoulders, soothing the areas where the straps had cut into her fur and flesh.

Kirby couldn't believe Twilight was actually asking why he pushed Cooper and threatened Steele. "Weren't you watching the race?! Your father decided to cheat and make us lose and your brother is nothing but a carbon copy of him! One day you'll see exactly what I mean!"
Any feelings Kirby had for Twilight were meaningless at the moment as she watched him storm off cursing her father's and brother's names. As Kirby went back to his house he immediately regretted how he treated her. "I just wish there were a way to be able to like her without my feelings about her family get in the way". With one last tired sigh Kirby went off to sleep hoping tomorrow would be better.

Cooper let out a slight growl, as Kirby had pushed him, and looked after Kirby for a second. Then, he sighed quietly, and headed back to their house, where Twilight had just gone. He knew she had gone to her room, and that something wasn't right with her, so he decided to go cheer his sister up. Cooper ran to upstairs, and went to Twilight's room, and saw her sitting next to the window.
"Hi, sis" he called and walked up beside her.
"What are you looking at?" Cooper then asked her, as he looked out of the window and then turned his head to Twilight.

I grinned cockily my sharp jaws gleamming. My victorious smile showed to my supporters that I was indeed the best out there and also warned my oppents that these jaws could be used for not only bousting. I walltzed towards my family. "Another day another win eh?" I explamed smugly.

It was about midnight and Kirby still couldn't get to sleep. All he could think of was what he to Cooper and Steele and how it must have hurt Twilight. Since he couldn't sleep he decided to wake-up his brother Ralph so he could have some company and maybe get some help. Kirby walked up to Ralph and gently nudged him until he got his eyes open. Even though Kirby knew this was a bad time to do this he needed to get it off his chest so he could be at peace for once.

Cooper looked his sister in the eye, and walked up to her.
"Yeah, I know. Same as always" he sighed and turned away from Twilight. Then Cooper jumped on the window, and looked outside as the skye had started to turn darker blue.
"You know what? Some day, I tell you, some day I will make dad proud, and be a lead dog just like him" he said, with a determined look on his face, as a few seagulls fly by the window.

Cooper blushed a little, but then looked at his sister and started to smile.
"Thanks, sis. I'm glad even someone believes in me" he then said, and turned to the window. Seagulls flew by the window again, and then they disappeared into the horizon. Cooper let out a slight sight, then turned away from the window and walked by Twilight.
"I...I think I need some fresh air. See ya later, Twilight" he sighed, then ran downstairs and went out of the house.

Ralph didn't seen to be in the mood to tall so Kirby decided to take a walk outside to clear his head. For a while he just looked at the horizon to see the up-coming sunrise which was kind of a daily ritual for Kirby. After about twenty minutes he walked into the town when to his surprise he saw Cooper heading in his direction.
