Ok, Tear...I'll try to be more active.
Balto opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
"I...well.....um...." he stuttered. There she was. Fluttering her night-black eyelashes again.

"Erm...." Was all he could think of to say. He took a step away, heading for the security of his boat, but then he stopped, and something made him turn. It was a bitterly cold night, and anyone could see that it would be absolutely freezing in a leaky old boat, and he ought to seek some sort of warm shelter. That barn looked so inviting...but he knew what people would think if they ever heard that he'd slept in the barn with this beautiful fox....but that wasn't his intention at all. I just want some sleep, can't anybody see that? he thought to himself. Suddenly he had a brilliant idea. He pretended he'd changed his mind, and carried on walking in the direction of his boat. He didn't say anything else to Tear- he felt akward enough already. Then.... as soon as he was sure that NOBODY COULD SEE OR HEAR HIM, He made a bolt for the boiler room. As soon as he pushed open the door, he felt a blast of heat hit his entire body, and he knew he would be very comfortable here. He setttled himself down on the mat by the warm orangey glow of the boiler, and sighed with pure pleasure. This was heaven. He smiled to himself as he fell into sleep, not realising the string of sausages lying in the croner, or that his trail of pawprints could easily be tracked by a determined fox....

Lol I only did that because you said that the sausages were in the boiler room, soo...I thought they should go there I think its quite a good idea. I hope its alright^^

Tear watched in awe as Balto walked away. She heard a sound like somone turning in the snow. She blinked and smiled. She followed Balto's paw prints in the snow. Maybe he really DID go back to his boat... Tear thought as the tracks kept going. She then saw the patch of snow turned over, probably from Balto turning around. Again she smiled. She ran beside the paw prints and found they led into the warm boiler room. She looked around and walked inside, makeing sure NOBODY saw. She closed the door and kicked the lock shut. Making sure once again the other doors where locked, she walked up to Balto.

Her sausages still lay ahead of them. She nudged him, not waiting for him to fully wake before she spoke. "Balto, I have some meat you might want to eat." She motioned toward the furnace and the roll of sausages. She picked them up and lay them between Balto and herself.

Trevor walked beside his son Levi as they talked about the crimes of the previous day. It was dark out but what do you say about Twilight Savings time? It was only about Seven O'clock. "Levi, we really need to check the butchers shop for any dogs stealing meat." Levi nodded and they ran, Trevor a little slower because of old age. They stopped at an alley most dogs used to sneak in. Levi walked inside while Trevor investigated around the front. "Dad come look!" Trevor ran over to what Levi was looking at. "Oh boy..." He murmured.

Sticking out of the butcher's trash can, was a white paw.

Balto groaned as something nudged him awake. His vision cleared and all he could see was.....Tear! He jumped back with a yelp of surprise, nearly sizzling his tail in the furnace! Immediately he stood up to his full hieght. He was about to ask what she was doing here- but Balto wasn't dumb- It didn't take a genius to work out why she was here.

"How did you find me?" he mumbled, a little dumbstruck.

Tear looked at him innocently. "Oh, I came back to get my sausages and saw you. You seem hungry." She pressed up against him, smiling. "Would you mind me staying here tonight?" Next to you?" She asked.

Balto tried to change the subject, to keep her away from him, and his eyes wandered over to... the sausages. They looked delicious. They were fresh,and Balto could tell that it was top quality butcher's meat. He could feel his mouth watering as he padded over to where they lay at the back of the room. He lay down and smiled pleasantly at Tear.

"Thanks." he said politely. He nibbled cauiously at one end of the string, and a wonderful spicy taste filled his mouth. He began to eat more and more, and each bite seemed to beckon another, and soon he was wolfing them down.

P.S. I've sent Tearthefox some pms suggesting what could possibly happen next. I'll see what she thinks.

Tear grabbed the other end and tried to match Balto's speed. She met him in the middle. She blinked her eyes and smiled.

Ooc//: Saba never notices that Tear and Balto are in the boiler room okay? And she never goes in

@ Deni--> Maybe Saba could see Balto when he runs outside for a split second. Then the next morning she can be an almost-witness to the case?

Balto carried on eating the sasauges, not paying any attention to what Tear was doing (it was a long roll of sausage XD) but suddenly as he came to the middle, he found not sausages but his mouth meet soft, velvety lips. He looked up in surprise and found himself falling into Tear's eyes - ...her summer-sky eyes, as soft as lakes. It took him a few seconds of disbelief before he could pull his head away. He stared at Tear in shock, and her eyes seemed to beckon him,to egg him on. They seemed to say to him- "Still hungry..?"...... Without saying another word, he got up, and ran for the door. He scrabbled at the lock, before realising that she'd locked it. He felt his anger grow, and he turned around and snapped at her-

"What are you playing at?" He saw a window and bolted towards it. It wasn't locked - Phew. He undid the catch and in a split second was out and running into the dark night. To his relief a new flurry of snow was falling- so nobody could follow his pawprints.

Tear smiled when she met him in the middle. The fluttered her eyes again and watched him try to fiddle with the lock. She smiled as he turned around. But the smiled vanished as son as it came when he bolted out the window. "Wait!" She yelled. You'll pay for this Balto. Nobody has EVER walked out on me. Once I get rid of that bitch you call a mate, you will come back to me begging for my love and mercy.

Niara followed Saba and saw Balto running."Balto!Balto!"she shouted,but Balto ran away."I'm sorry for Tear!I'm sorry!She's acting crazy!"she shouted last words to Balto and stopped."I hope you will understand that..."she said.
