Faizon stared at the newcomer when she barked "Run..." Tilting his head to one side he paused to ponder, "What is she bar-" An explosion trhowing about snow from a buck shot load maybe erupted right in front of him. He turned to look once more then saw the upwalker got a shot into her side. At least the black dog had been able to send the man away but she was hurt. "Hey... you alright?" It felt tlike a stupid question but it's the only one he could ask at the moment.

Salome stood up instantly and rushed past Ryder as she watched the bullet sieze againt the black dogess. Her silver frame passed by the shocken Humble. Her pawsteps slowed as she neared the young femme. "are you alright dear?" she asked, licking her wound in her rib cage.

Humble blinked slowly, her coat shimered as her mucles locked, frozen.

She winced at the lick "I-I'm alright..realy I am.." She knew she wasn't but she stood up, her body shaky "Sorry about my owner.." She apoligized.

Faizon looked up from inspecting the wound when Salome approached who started to clean up the wound. He glanced curiously at the door where the upwalker had vanished into. He recalled other gunwielders who shot to kill antelope caribou and other game as they call it. He had his ears faced back as he heard the newcomer speak up.

"I-I'm alright..realy I am.. Sorry about my owner.."

His eyes glowed with shock when he heard who shot the black dog. He whipped his head back and growled, "He's your OWNER?!" his trademark furious glare that earned him his current reputation for not being the... best... dog to be with whipped across everyone. Afterwards he turned his fiery gaze at the door. "I'm going to teach him a lesson..." He barked angrily standing up prepared to take a step towards the house.

Alaska struggled as she got up, her legs wishing to drag behind her bloody body "Please...he-he means well...realy..its just that he has to work me." She sighed, she hated her owner but he was the reason she lived.

Faizon froze in his tracks. He turned about to whip his face in front of Alaska, "Mean well?" He barked sarcastically, "Shooting your side I see is a way of helping I see..." He continued on his eyes narrowed. The worst of his fury was fading, however this was the time that a friend would normally calm his nerves to smoothen his ruffled nerves. Less menacingly he continued, "Why don't you leave that son of a gun and live a stray? I'd imagine life less dangerous that way."

"My old owner shot me..but I'm ok..realy." She got up and walked over the Faizon "I'll leave him..but calm down ok?" SHe didn't say this rudly, she said it calmly and lovingly.

Faizon closed his eyes slowly inhaling and exhaling. "Calm down..." He told himself.

She smiled at him, he was very handsom, his structure was large and he seemed nice and sweet "I don't think I got your name?" She told him, her head cocked.

Faizon turned to mutter his reply, "Faizon, and yours?" he added out of courtesy as he started to smooth his ruffled fur with his tongue.

Alaska sighed, she hated her name, it was so stupid and uncommon...But his was to, so he might not make fun of her "Alaska....but Poison in the ring." She told him, her eyes dared not to look at him.

Faizon nods in reply, turning to look about.

[[I'm really sorry, WB. Where's this story heading now?]]

Humble looked to Alaska "in the ring..? as in.. a fighting dog?" she asked, her head tilted genlty, her eyes beemed in curiousty as she stood besides Faizon.

Salome walked around Faizon, licking his head in a calming motherly way "shh.. its ok now" she whispered to the younge dog, her smooth mature tone took affect as she watched his fur lower and relaxed. She smiled, waging her tail, nodding silently to Ryder, then glanced to Faizon.

Alaska looked at her and clenched the ground "Y-yes...." She studdered, her body began to tremble, memories of the blood splattered across the ground...
