Aren't muscle and brawn the same thing? Balto is a quicker thinker and he's fast. Thats what I like about him

I think balto is kool because he put jenna and rosie's lives before his own.

Of course in real life he did somewhat the same thing there just was no Jenna or rosie

True also I think that Steele would tire before Balto.

I don't like his eyes. He relies on humans tooo much. Balto is independent and also has his own instinct.

To throw a wrench in the works...

"Muscle," I'm assuming, means having a large quantity of it.

But muscle can be effective in other ways besides mass. Take, for example, Andrei Kirilenko (NBA player from Russia). He's very thin and tall, but tireless and quick. Compare him to Shaq, who's all muscle, but slow and can't run for long without getting a rest.

The difference is in the type of muscle fibers each has -- Andrei has lots of long-twitch fibers, which are very good for moving a joint over and over again without tiring. They require less oxygen. Shaq has tons of short-twitch fibers (anybody who bodybuilds has tons of short-twitch), which allows him to summon massive power but only a few times. They use more oxygen.

However, my comparison breaks down when we see that Steele isn't a Shaq: that is, he can run long distances without tiring. He most likely carries around a bunch of "show-off" short fibers, but has the underlying long fibers to be a sled dog. Balto, on the other hand, has no extra bulk to carry, which is why he can run so fast.

What think you all?
