Jacob noddedd at Sally. "It is... weird." He grinned slightly. "But I forgot that you can do some otehr stuff....." He sighed. "I'm gonna change back later." He loekd at Danielle. "And I promise I won' rip teh clothes." He grinned.

Alice raced after her, laughing. "Wait up!" She caught up to her frined and kept running.

Ayr let out a little ruff noise and flashed Danielle a wolfy grin. He fell back down onto his all fours and shook his head and snorted slighlty. He tilited his head to the side and nudged Danielle on the leg with his head. Then he darted off into the bushes without another word or motion. He emerged about twenty seconds later, fully dressed on on two legs. He flashed his handsome smile at Danielle and ran his hand through his hair as he jogged up to her. "Hey Dan! whats up?" Ayr asked, casually swinging his arm so it lay limply, draped across her shoulders.

Rose laughed as she slowed to let Alice catch up. Then, she started at full speed again with Alice by her side. "Hey, guy!" she greeted with a wave as she came to the small group. She came to a stop and her eyes immediately went a strange boy standing across form her. She was about to ask who he was when she caught his scent. "Jacob?!" she asked with surprise.

Danielle smiled at her little sister's reaction. She let Jacob explain though. She looked at Ayre and smiled brightly. "Oh nothing other than Jake's big change," she said. "But you were here for that."

Ayr grinned. "Hey Jake! lookin' good bro!" he said cheerfully and clapped Jacob on the shoulder. He stretched his arms slightly and removed the arm that was draped across Danielle's shoulders. He narrowed his eyes slightly and yawned. He swung his head to the side to glance at Danielle, making the little loop in his ear - with his crystal attatched to it - swing around slightly.

Jacob looekd at Rose. "Umm.. I sorta changed into ahuman.... by accident.... I didn't evenb knwo I could."

"Wow," said Alice. "Congragultions.... I think. This is a good thing right?"

"Of course it is," Rose said to Alice. "Right?" she asked Jake.

Danielle glanced at Ayr when he removed his arm and her eyes caught his when he looked back at her. She felt her cheeks pinken and she looked down at the ground and pursed her lips.

Ayr noticed Danielle's cheeks grow slightly pink and he couldn't help but grin. He really did like spending time here, especially since Danielle was here all the time. Little did Ayr know that changes that he wouldn't like were rapidly approaching.

The crystal was slowly chipping in the places that Mathew had hit it. He studied it. One last blow would do it. He lifted the large wooden hammer above his head and brought it down on the stone with more might than the other blows.

Danielle glanced up at Ayr. She gave a mental sigh of relief when he was smiling at her. She smiled back. Then, a strange but familiar feeling entered her stomach. Then, she was on all fours. Fur was growing along her skin and her bones were changing, but only slightly. When it stopped, she expected something esle to happen. It didn't feel like the change was over. It felt different, though not uncomfortable to stand on four paw, but she decided to decide to stand on just two. And she did it so easily that she suprsied herself. She looked at her arms; they were covered in white silver fur. She looked at everyone else and her eyes widened. What had happened?

Rose's gazed traveled to her sister; but Danielle was only the first to go down. Suddenly, Rose felt the uneasy feeling she had before every change. She was scared not being able to control it as she changed into what she thought was her tiger form. But it seemed to stop half way. She crouched on the ground and looked around her. She sat on the ground in a very human position, though she was covered with striped light orange fur. She looked to Danielle for help or an explanation, like she always did, but her confused expression was mirrored in her older sister's face.

Ayr gasped as Danielle suddenly changed without her doing it on purpose. He gulped as he watched Rose change too and then his blood turned to ice when he didn't change at all. He sank down on all fours and black and white fur began thikening, but he didn't got back up on two feet like Dan did. "Whats going on?" Ayr demanded, almost growled.

Luke and Sally looked at the others, due to being stuck in animal form, they didn't change because they were incapable of doing it at all. "How'd you do that?" asked Luke, confused.

"Is something wrong?" asked Sally.

Suddenly, Jacob's stomach lurched. He fell ont eh ground and hair started sproiunting on hsi arms. He was a wolf again a moment later. He lookd around ."What's goin gon?" he asked, panting slightly at the shock of chaning back without a warning.

Alice sudenly fell on all fours and changed. She looked downa t teh toehr since she now towered over them as a cougar. "wAht happened?" shea sked, panicing.

"I-I don't know," Danielle said. "That was so... so unexpected. I wasn't even thinking about changing." She looked at her hands. They only slightly resembled paws. They were still hands though. She felt like a werewolf or something, though there was no full moon.

In a sudden desperation for something familiar, Rose stretched her back, consintrating harder than she had ever had to. She was trying to change into her full tiger form. But found that she couldn't. She tried again. And again. Than she tried to change back to her human form. Twice. "Guys," she said in a high pitched voice, looking up at all of them from her place on the ground. "I-I can't... I can't change. At all."

Mather smiled at the shaddered Crystal Stone. A single, small black stone sat in the clear rubble. Mathew dropped the hammer and picked up the small stone. He wasn't sure exactly what it is, but he had a feeling it had something to do with Gaia's powers. He opened the leather pouch that was strung around his neck, dropped the stone inside it, picked up a shard of crystal, and dropped it in the pouch too. Closing the pouch, Mathew got up from his crouch and walked back outside, satisfied with his work.

"waht's going on?" Jacob got to his hind paws. "This feels so weird. How the heck can we be imbetween? What's happening?"

Alice loeokd at her friends. "this is so weird! And not in a godo way." She look at her paw/hand thigns and foudn that they were shaking. "We have to stop this!" She tried ot change back but couldn't.

"Should we be scared?" asked Luke, unsure, which caused a small rain to start.

"Let me see something." said Sally. She used her telepathy and saw Manther and the stone. She gasped and ran up to Danielle. "Someone...they broke the crystal stone." she whispered in her ear.

"What?!" Danielle said loudly, probably scarying the pups. She calmed her voice before continueing. "How could they? Hardly anyone outside of the tribe knows its location and no Gaia decendent would dare break it." She looked at Rose, then Jacob, then Ayr, desperation in her eyes, as if one of them would know who had done it.
