Bloodblade gave HawkFeather a smirk as she passed him, sticking his tongue out at her and then quickly withdrawing it, as if he was innocent. "I have a heart...I just don't use it much," he replied.

He gave a small stretch, limbs popping slightly, to wake himself up and get ready for the hunt. Blood sat down, waiting for the next orders.

"sorry" she said to cloud. "shes hurt" said Bloodblade. "its nothing" she mumbled "i just tripped......". "WildWind, I do not really want to know what happened, but I feel it is in the pack's best interest if you'd stay here, perhaps help the scouts out wiith their duties." said Hawkfeather. Wildwinds ears drooped when she heard this "awwwww......" she complained "but.... but...". but when she heard cloud say "Maybe you should stay with the scouts today a small wound on the paw could become a big problem later on, and I don't want a lame apprentice." She knew it was final. She had to help the scouts out. "yes, mentor" she said quietly, limping away and back to where the scouts were.

HawkFeather shook her head at Clouds apprentice. That WildWind..... she though to herself, She can be so scatter-brained at times. Now she won't get to learn this vital training! Hawk growled to herself as she trotted ahead, her seemingly burning tail swishing behind her. "Captain Moondance," HawkFeather said, standing at full attention, "are you now prepared to give out positions for the hunt?" she inquired, her face blank.

SwiftWing padded over to FrostWing. "It looks like we'll be getting some extra help...." he said a bit annoyedly, sighing. "Well c'mon...we should go get Wind before she gets lost." he said, hopping down the face of the mountain from rock to rock, her y quickly and with great ease.

Bloodblade's ears pricked up to listen. He was always excited for a hunt; especially since Blood was extra good at it, when he had a whole team to work with. The dark wolf could barely sit still, and he had to stand so not to fidget too much.

Silverspeed sat back at camp, keeping watch and waiting for the hunters to return, while his belly grumbled with unsatisfaction. He was hungry, but Silver knew he would eat last because the higher ranked wolves always ate first.

Wildwind padded over to SwiftWing and FrostWing, her ears flat against her head and her eyes clearly showing that she was annoyed. "hi" she said to them in an irritated voice "I have to help you out with scout duties". She looked down at her paw and sighed muttering to herself "dammit i hate it when things like this happen" She stopped muttering to inspect her paw thoroughly "it'll take about three to four days to heal now...." She muttered. Then she looked up and stopped muttering, sighing again.

Wildwind sighed. Then her ears perked up and she stopped moping around and was content again. "Well no use getting upset about it when theres nothing you can do" she told herself. "So what do we have to do today?" She asked Swift and Frost. "And i am careful!" She said to Swift. "Well most of the time" she said. "yeah right" she muttered under her breath, smiling.
