"I know dear, I just call you that to get your attention." said Jenna. She walked into the shed. "Hey Kaltag, Star." she said.

"Hello Jenna, you're looking nice today." said Star.

Miki nodded to her sister with a giggle.

Dusty nodded. "But lets just remember, we're doing this to raise money for little kids, not for honor. So no pressure."

Fang nodded to both May and Dusty. "Yeah, lets not have any pressure."

Rose glared at her giggling sisters before following her mom.

Kaltag nodded at Jenna and her daughters in greeting.

"Hi, guys," Saba said to Kaltag and Star. "Have you heard the news about the mail team's race yet?"

"Don't worry, Dusty," Kirby said. "We know what we're racing for."

"We won't let winning be our only priority like Steele," Ralph added.

"Yes, have you?" asked Jenna.

"No, we haven't, not yet." said Star, confused.

"Well its Steele." said Miki.

"She's right, no pressure." said Balto, even though he felt pressure that he'd let Kodi down.

"That's strange, everyone agreed with me." said Dusty.

"What about Steele?" Kaltag asked.

"He's coming here. To Nome," Rose informed them.

"His team is racing the mail team for that charity," Saba added.

"Don't worry," Kodi said to Dusty. "It's a once in a life time chance. It'll nevr happen again."

"So you think Steele might of changed?" asked Jenna.

OOC: Trying to set up their gag.

Dusty chuckled. "Very funny, almost makes me forget you slipping on black ice and falling face first in your food bowl."

"Steele?" Kaltag asked sarcastically. "I doubt it. He's just a back-stabbing glory hound. A no-good scum bag. A thank-god-he's-gon lead dog. A-"

May stiffled a laugh behind her paw.

Kodi scowled at Dusty. "I didn't see the ice," he mumbled in a weak defense.

"This is the really funny part." Jenna whispered to her daughters.

"He's no lap dog thats for sure!" yelled Star.

"Oh and you still have a bit stuck in your ear." said Dusty, laughing.

Kaltag glared at Star before hitting him over the head with his fist.

Rose giggled a little.

"So worth it," Saba said to Jenna and her sisters as she chuckled.

Kodi scatched his ear so it came of. He glared at Dusty.

"All in all, no" Kaltag said.

Rose said. "We were hoping there was."

"But we didn't expect it," Saba added.

"Of course not," Kodi said bitterly.

"How about not fighting before the big race," May suggested forcefully.

"Thank you for the warning," Kaltag said.

"Any time," Saba said with a smile. "Tell us if you here anything."

"I think it's time we head home, though," Rose said, trying to get out of there without being rude.

Kodi frowned. "I guess," he finally sighed.

May shrugged. "One of my many talents," she said with a smile.

"Come on girls, lets head home." said Jenna. "Good to see you Kaltag, Star." she said, starting to trot off.

"Any time Jenna!" said Star.

Miki nodded and walked off. "Well they seemed nice."

"Or are you just sad no one wants to go on a date with you tonight?" asked Dusty.

Fang nodded. "A good talent to have."

Saba shrugged. "I just ccan't believe they used to be with Steele."

"Whatever," Rose said. "But I still gotta go home. The race is tomorrow morning and I don't want to be late."

Kodi glared at Dusty. "I could get a date if I wanted to. I just... dont... want to." Kodi looked down, ashamed of his come-back.

"I know," May said smugly. "And your jealous of it," she said kiddingly.
