(wow its been a while since i came here....) the story was great and i kinda agree with nighteyes not too balto related but as u said you'll be coming bak

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted!
I've been VERY busy with my job. (and hard at work on "Balto: The Race" (BTR), and "Bambi II" (BII))
I have about ninety pages on BTR, and ninety-nine on BII.
The ending of BTR has turned out to be very hard to write, I've been stuck on it for almost two weeks now, diuring which time I've been working on BII. I think this is going to be a good story.
It mostly follows the same storyline as the first, A childhood, and then an adult life, only this time it's about Bambi's children, specifically his son, Roskoe. As an adult, Roskoe gets too trusting with a man, (the guy saved his life when he stepped in a trap) with grave consequenses, when the man that killed Bambi's mother, and later shot Bambi himself, follows his son (the man that Roskoe has befriended) to the meadow.
Let's just say that someone extremley close to Bambi get's... hurt by this decision, and Bambi basically turns his back on his son, who then runs away... right into the scheduled burning of the south side of the forest. his son is trapped, and after Faline (Bambi's mate) talks to him, and he hears where his son went, Bambi goes after and rescues his son.
I think it will be good.
Anyway, I guess that's all the updates for now...
Oh, and I killed another character off in BTR. Who?
I hope to have it finished this weekend, so you'll find out then.

And by the way, when will the Fiction Section of the Balto Source be updated...? Just curious...

I love how calm you were when you said those last three lines... It seems ironic, or something comparable.
I know how you feel on BTR. I've been stuck on the ending of Dark Eyes for almost a week, and I don't know if the ending I thought of will make sense...or if it will seem way out in left field....
Oh well, time to 'spray and pray' as (I believe) the Marines say, and hope it comes out right.
