Luke nuzzled Mist. "That's right momma, fighting isn't good." he said, he didn't like fighting. A howl went through the air, it wasn't too far away and it was Jacob's. "Momma, who's that, they don't sound friendly." he said, pinning his little ears as best a floppy eared coydog could.

Shayla looked at Jacob, feeling uncomfortable. "Shouldn't we just.. let her go?" she asked, really thinking it was an accident. She had been friends with Mist and didn't want her hurt.
Nathan saw Mist and hte group up ahead and stopped. "Hey, Lily," he barked. "I found other wolves...." his isster caught up with him and he bounded towards the group. "I am Nathan," he said, "my sister,Lily is back there."
Lily rolled her eyes and followed her borther, muttering, "He's always urging me places, saying 'let's go there. no there!'." she chuckled as she reached the group. "Hello. I'm Lily."

"Nothing," Mist said sternly to the Lily and Nathan. She turned to Arcaine. "Something terrible happened and it was an accident." She said this last part looking at Alex sternly. She looked back at Arcaine and Dan. I rather not talk about it."
Because it wasn't an accident," Alex said in a matter-of-fact way.
"I just want to know what happened!" Dan shouted over the argueing wolves.

Mist padded the ground. She had to get out of there. Jacob was coming. "I have to go," she said aloud and began backing in the woods.
"What? Scared of Jacob finding you?" Alex smiled evilly at her.
Dan sighed. He was so confused.

Luke snarled at Alex. "Leave my momma alone!" he barked at him. He leapt out and bit down hard on Alex's nose, drawing a trickle of blood before walking over to Mist.
