Jade looked back and quickly grabbed jAke up "comon, hurryto the forest" she said, bing a girl scout se knew thier best defense was to hide in the forest. She looked back to Xinal then passed a looked to Ember as the three made thier way into the outskirts of the dense forest. She looked to a well worn trail and looked back to Ember then to Jack.

Ember growled lightly, watching Xinal and then nudged the pups forward, her stepped catuosly stepped over jaged rocks as they entered the forest, the shouts of the thugs became less. She looked back to were Xinal had run to and whimpered, glancing back to the pups.

"Go to him... we'll be fine.. the trail here, we will follow it, you knew were to catch with us" jade passed to Ember thru her mind and patted her nose. Then turned and held Jack by his arm as she made her way thru the trail, glancing back to Ember "Go!" and vanished into the shadows with the boy.

Ember watched her and then turned, quickly running back to where Xinal was. She blinked as she watched his silver lined frame give off emtis of sparks. She growled to the 2nd thug and leapt onto him. Her eyes locked to his gaze as she bared her fangs angrily. Tendrils slipped down her clentched fangs as her eyes suddenly spazzed into a multy colored azufre color. The man fell back, grunting heavily. His breath was weak as he heaved pain fully, his hand firmly grasping his heart as strugled to get afoot and backed away before running. Ember shook her head, blinking her now blue sharp eyes. Her footing was weak as she stumbled, watching her vision instantly blurr up.

Jack felt his arm being tugged and followed Jade through the forest trail, running through with his strength hearing one of the thugs shout in surprise. Then he noticed Ember say something to the wolf that accompanied them, watching her pat the wolf's nose before the wolf turned back. He turned his head to look at Ember, "Where's she going?" As he ran on he started to feel his side ache from the effort.

Xinal leapt off the thug he had shock who turned about and fled along with the other that seemed to suddenly just leave the fight, and turned to see that Ember had joined in. "What about the pu-" his question hung in the air as he notice Ember land weakly on the ground. He rushed to her side and pressed against her flank with his own body to support her. "Easy now..."

Jade paused to a clearing that was roofed with the leaves of the trees and panted softly "she went back to help the other wolf.. were ok .. for now" she said, looking around catiously and leaned closert to Jack, shivering.

She grunted as she hit the ground slowly. Ember blinked slowly as her vision remained blurred. She shook her head, yelping softly as she felt her body quiver with her over rated heatness and whimpered " Xinal..?" she asked, her vision had become red now.. fully.. for the time being she was blind. her ears pulled back as she turned around, her footing wobbled as she fell forward.

((dunt worry its only for a few hours that shell be blind))

Xinal aided her in standing and replied, "I'm right here. Don't panic." He said comfortingly while working to pick up the scents of the human pups. After a moment he found their trail and started following before glancing back at the thug on the ground unconcious behind him. "Should I kill him to get this over with?" He asked outloud to himself.

Jack wrapped his arm around her in an attempt to keep her warm. It wasn't much help since he himself was shivering with cold. He scanned the surroundings for anything they could use to shelter themselves from the cold, for the meantime at least. His eyes gazed upon a tree where snow seemed to pile up. He lead the way to the tree and before he let go of Jade handed her another piece of candy to keep her strength up, then turning back to the tree he fell feebly onto the snow at the base of the tree. Slowly he started to dig out a trench very slowly and weakly but determined. Eventually a hole was made in the snow with enough space to fit two people with room to spare. He struggled up to his feet with multiple failed attempts where he wound up falling face first into the snow as his arms could barely take his weight. When he succeeded in standing he reached for the lowest branches of the tree and broke them off. He let it fall to the ground then turned to Jade.

"We should be warm in this, at least until the wolves come back." He said smiling energetically despite his tired fatigued body nagging at his bones to just lay there and pass on. He gestured for her to get in and stood waiting for her to get in.

Ember blinked slowly and glanced in the direction Xinal's voice and shook her head "no.." she whispered faintly, she would not have bloodshed on her lands. Her furs pricked waiting for his frame to lean besides her, like a guide as she was eager to return back to the pups, worried for their safety. Her eyelids fell over her eyes various time to no affect. Her tail flicked angrily with impatience to herself.

Jade blushed lightly, feeling his arms around her and smiled softly. She watched him curiously, find them a small den and waited for him to finish before crawling in, finding the deepest spot and looked back to him, she grasped his wrist, helping him in. "yea.. its better in here" she said, her tone lagged the usual perky tone as hr muscles quivered with tiredness.

Xinal lead Ember, following the scent trails left by the pups. These pups have a very strong scent He grinned as he continued on. Slowly approaching the den that the pups have made for themselves.

Jack smiled at her determination to show that she was ok, but he knew that she was tired like he was. Suddenly he heard footsteps aproach them and he tensed up. When he peaked over the bbank of snow and peered through the leaves of the broken branches that was used as a cover, he started as he came nose to nose with Xinal. He was shocked with the wet nose as it touched his and he leaped back, hitting his head on the tree behind him and falling into the snow on his side.

Xinal had bent down to check whether the pups were still inside the den and so he pushed his nose through the leaves and to his surprise he felt the soft skin of a human nose. He leapt back as well sending snow onto the human pup by accident.

"Great..." Jack's muffled voice rang through the snow that burried him now. "This is the second time I'm buried in snow."

"What do you mean wolves attacked you? You have guns so what's the problem?"

"But sir, them two wolves were protecting the child."

"Wolves aren't that smart you cope!" The first retaliated. However the another thug replied saying, "But boss, those two kept attacking us when we rushed in for the child."

The boss laid his head on his hands disbelieving. After a few moments he answered, "Keep it going. Get the child. He's an indispensable asset right now, given his Father's position." As their boss reclined he pressed a button on his seat, "Please send in McCain." Shortly, a muscular man, dressed in an overcoat, musher's hat and mittens, came up to the desk. His face was pale from the cold weather but he seemed perfectly used to it.

"Sir, we need more capital to continue on with the business."

"Yes, and that's exactly why you're here. Accompany these two and you will find two wolves." McCain smiled when he heard this and pulled out an armament in his arsenal in excitement. After completely filling in each other with the plans of the day, the trio head off. The boss spun his chair about to face the wall. "This is going to be an interesting job."

Ember had her head lowered, her nostrils were wide and flared as she fed from the air around the pups and Xinal. She stayed quiet besides him but could sense that overall both the pups were okay. A slow yawn tore it's way along her maw as she fluffed her obsidian black pelt out and then sat back, reclining on her haunches. Keeping her audits(Ears) at an angle she looked around, huffing shortly, hating the fact that she was sight-less for the time being. The black tuff that you would call her tail curled tightly along her forelegs as the pups moved about near them.

Jade looked to Jack's tumbled form with her hands against her lips, trying not to laugh."Are.. you okay?"She asked with a soft voice helping him lean up before looking over to the two wolves with relived smile. The corners of her bright purple hues darkened with comfort as she walked closer to the wolves now moving the dead branches aside. In that motion, bits of dead leaves snapped from the bits of the branch and fell onto the floor.

Jack shakily stood up, dusting off the snow that rested on his clothes. However much uncomfortable it was, he was starting to get used to the cold. He climbed out of the small pit to stand beside the wolves. Unfortunately he tripped on the way out and lost his balance. Just barely grabbing onto Xinal's thick coat.

Xinal howled in pain as he felt his fur supporting the weight of the child. "I can't wait until we get moving." He muttered to Amber. He looked at Jade and asked, "Are you two alright? No injuries or maladies?" Afterwards he paused and shook his head. I'm starting to get used to having a human speak wolf... just amazing. He shook his head in surprise.

`No.. we are okay` She smiled to him then looked to Jack with wide innocent eyes before chuckling. Walking up besides Xinal she leaned her forearm under Jack's shoulders and lifted him up, balancing him to stand upright."It's like your drunk of something"She mussed with soft chuckle before looking from Ember and to Xinal once more. `So.. where do we go next?` She asked, her bangs hitting against her cheek as she waited patiently, still holding Jack some.

A powerfully muscled tongue strolled over Ember's lips, wetting them some before she opened her eyes. Shades of red and darker maroon and russet was all she could see. Flatting her audits back onto her skull she glanced to where she mussed Xinal was standing and only stood up defensively as he howled in pain. Her nose quivered as she walked forward, feeding her mental compass from the source of the sound to lightly nudge the boy over, hoping he could stand correctly this time.

Jack felt Ember's body push him up. Releasing his grip on Xinal's fur he was finally able to stand up in the snow. He heard Jade's joyful remark. "Haha, I got drunk on one piece of candy." He replied sarcastically before smiling back at her. "Alright." He knelt down in front of Xinal, feeling the cold embrace of the snow on his right knee. "Since you seem to be the pack leader right now, where should we go?"

Xinal just stared at him in curiousity. "What the heck was this pup saying?" He looked up at Jade with the question in his eyes. His ears flicked uncomfortably as he felt the warm breath of the child on his face.

`He's saying that, since you seem to be the leader... where should go off to next?`She finished with a smile, extending her hand out to lightly feel his fur against her finger tips, her body relaxing at the thought of having two wolves protecting them from the men that seemed on a high to steal Jack. She glanced back, looking at him with warm eyes. Thoughts of why they could possibly want with him seemed to trace into her mind but she shook her head slowly and smiled back to the blue eyed, silver male wolf before her.

After feeling the boy get up and stand Ember leaned away and rested back onto her rump. Her ears pushed forward, cutting a soft growl from her lips down, not wanting to scare the pups.`He's not the leader..I am..`She said to herself but sighed it away aswell, at this very moment she was the week one with a lack of vision. So she was forced to succumb to what the silver male would appoint them to.

Xinal felt the caress of the fingers of the human pup. After thinking for a few moments he shook his pelt to warm himself up and turned to look at Ember. "I suppose we should make our way to the nearest human settlement." Looking back at the pup he added, "These two are going to need the warmth and comfort of their fellow human's as soon as possible." When he turned to look to her he asked, "Which direction should we head off to. You know this place better than I do."

Jack looked off to the horizon worry gleaming in his eyes. "I hope my father doesn't worry too much." Being a tourist and all wasn't helping him get home any faster. He has to heavily rely on his new friends to keep him safe. He just felt annoyed he couldn't do anything more.

Ember looked to Xinals a bit surprised and then closed her eyes again. Leveling her ears forward she began to feed from the air and looked up north. "If we keep this trail to the north east.. it should run into a waterfall and creek.. we could stop there and refresh... the pups might need water.. right?" She asked, her voice was soft as she glanced back to Xinal and waited his opinion. Ember's tail slowly uncurled from her legs as she leaned up, taking a few carious steps closer to human and wolf.

Jade walked around both the wolves and then stood amongst them waiting patiently. Bits of snow under her footing as she felt her weight slowly sinking onto the frost bed of new snow and sighed under her breath. Various specks of her hair seemed to burst out from her neck before she reached into her back pocket and pulled her hair up into a pony tail and looked to Jack with a smile. "Don't worry we'll be back before he get's too worried."
