erm ok??.. well my neighbours white retriever's skin is black.. but she's white?.. no one is really sure if they're black with white stripes or white with black... i say white with black cuz MOST of their pelt is white which would make more sense

The fact that their noses are solid black indicates that black is their base color.

ok but neighbours dog's nose is black too but she's white.. i can show a picture of her...

and to Legacy5... well who knows... not all skin depends on the pelt you know.. :roll:
