I don't know if this is right, but here's my opinion:
Yellow is yellow in light and dark because of it's soft color.
Soft orange is soft orange in light and dark.
Deep orange is deep orange in light and reddish in dark.
Red is red in light and dark.
What do you all think?

Well Jenna has always been described as red hasn't she? And her bandanna certainly isn't the same colour as her. I know it could be a different shade and stuff, but I think at different times it appears red and sometimes it appears to be orange and that's all there is to it.

It's red! It's red!!! IT'S RED!!! I know it's red. for me it's red. I use red coloring and no one says It's wrong!!

It is a possiblity, but do you know this for a fact. Also, if I understand you corectly, the concepts you are using for light and dark refer to the accual amount of light in an area that is reflecting the colors of objects which is seen and translated into colors by our eyes and brain. Normaly I would agree with you, but that kind of thing aplies more to realist artists, where Balto is done in an animation style. Don't get me wrong, I love animation, and I love the animation of Balto, but your idea only works if the artists of balto choose to work that way. They could of easily choosen to work from a more abstract or non-realist sense.

Guys this is stupid no point for this! We all have different views on colour. I say my blanket's blue my friend says it's purple! It's different conseption of colour! If you asked me it's orange but with steet's proof I'm doubting myself! So I think this topic is pointless!

Well, my oppinion on this is that it's red in some clips, and then orange in others...

heheheh, this animation will help us A LOT to find out the real color.

Hmm well the "red supporters" have a good point here:

The bandanna is nearly exactly the same colour as Jenna's fur, which is described to be red. But that goes to show that it changes, because it's not always the same colour as her fur, so I think we can all settle with it being sometimes red and sometimes orange.
