I still haven't seen Bolt. I want to sooo badly!! I saw it last weekend, and again yesterday, both times on plane flights. Let me tell you, it is GOOD. I have a question: Who would like to see a crossover between Bolt (as he was seen on his TV show in the movie) and Road Rovers, a canine superhero team?

Yeah Bolt is a fantastic movie. "Walt Disney, you've done it again!" XD Dragon Tamer wrote: I have a question: Who would like to see a crossover between Bolt (as he was seen on his TV show in the movie) and Road Rovers, a canine superhero team? Not really, since I'm not a fan of Road Rovers [really dislike them :/] I would think it would ruin Bolt but if you mean a fanfic, go for it.

Bolt was great! I rented it first, watched it (minus the fact that it was all scratched up from previous renters and I missed a couple semi-important parts >.<) then bought it off iTunes the next day! (I bought a digital copy since it'd be a bit odd for an 18 year-old to have a copy of Bolt lying around) I gotta say, the beginning was really nice; getting Bolt from the pet store, then the TV show! Wow... after watching the first TV show sequence, I was very impressed that Disney could do action sequences like that! I mean, I was expecting it to be really over-the-top and with too much humor added to it, but I was pleasantly surprised! And, of course, the rest of the movie was good, too. I gotta say one of my favorite parts was when Bolt was holding up Mittens, demanding her to reveal the green-eyed man's location, and all the pigeons were all saying "Yep! That's the one!" I couldn't help but exclaim "Haha! OWNED, sucka!" XD Plus, the ending was one of those moments at which I would've almost cried (but I must admit, I don't cry that easily).

That is, until Penny's agent got kicked out of the ambulance and the mom was like "We quit!" Totally lightened up the mood! ^^ As to a Bolt/Road Rovers crossover, I think it might be interesting, so long as Bolt gets an anthro form. I've always wondered what he'd be like as an anthro superhero...

Well, I wasn't thinking of an anthro form for him. Especially because in reality, he was a pretty average dog. All the Road Rovers had specific attributes which (with the arguable exception of Colleen) were enhanced into superpowers by the transdogmafier: Hunter's speed, Colleen's cunning and agility, Blitz's jaws, and so on. Outside his TV show, Bolt really wasn't that exceptional aside from his courage, which is really difficult to convert into a superpower as such. Bolt as a Road Rover is definitely interesting, but not exactly what I'm planning. You'll see, though.

Just a thought, that's all.

I usually try to stick to the style of whatever series I'm writing in, but one can always stretch a point. I've often puzzled over the matter of Exile's eyesight being enhanced that much myself, but I chalk it up to cartoons when all's said and done.

(I bought a digital copy since it'd be a bit odd for an 18 year-old to have a copy of Bolt lying around) Yeah, I did the same thing, XD. However, I couldn't get enough of it, so I just went into Wall-mart awkwardly and bought it, XP. I think the clerk thought I was some 18 year old weirdo, ^^". However, when I bought it, I didn't realize that it has a digital copy with it, so I now have the Itunes one, and a disk to get another copy off of Disney, XD. It was worth it though, since it came with a pretty hefty comic book of the entire movie. Fun the draw from too. Anyways, I'm a madman for Bolt. I went to go see it in theaters twice, but never had the chance to do it in 3D sadly. I've become VERY obsessed with the movie since I saw it (and before too, ^^"), and sometimes won't shut up about it. I just think every little aspect is perfect: the hero Bolt, the fact I'm dog crazy, the astounding musical score, the emotion-jerking plot-line, and all the lovable side characters. The music is one of my favorite things from this movie though. I listen to it everyday on the way to school since I lamely bought the soundtrack too, =3. Oh, and from the DVD, the deleted scenes are very sad, D=.

There is one where they were going to have Bolt find out that he wasn't a super hero in a different way, but never made the cut since it didn't flow as good as the final decision that you see in the movie. Bolt was originally going to be begging for food in the alley way from a restaurant in what looked like New York. Well, walking with food in his mouth, two stray thug dogs stop him. Bolt threatens that they don't want to mess with him for he has super powers, but the dogs attack Bolt. There is a lot of fighting and throwing Bolt around like a rag doll as he whimpers and cries. Then he is tossed to the side in a puddle, wiping off his thunderbolt on his side.
Watching this in just stills and stuff made me cry pretty bad, >_<. It was hard to watch him get beaten so badly. On a happier note, I've been thinking of getting some merchandice, but I always feel like a freak or creep walking into Toys R Us to the stuffed animal selection to get a Bolt plush, -_-. I wish people wouldn't care if I liked things sometimes, no matter my age, ;_;. -Blur

-Blur i think people who think other people are imature for liking kids movies are imature themselves. cause you gotta think of it this way, adults made them O.O ...and if it still bothers you (i know it still does for me at times), you can always say it's for a younger sibling or cousin :3

I'm an LBT fan myself, among other things. Aside from 24, I hardly watch anything that's rated higher than G. I've been harassed by a number of people, including some on this site whom I will be gracious enough not to name, both for preferring and for producing decent entertainment. But why bother with people like that? Who are you trying to please anyway?

But yeah, I usually don't have a problem with it, but when I do, I usually just pass it off as I'm getting it for my younger brother or step-sister, XD. However, I really only do this if I happen to pass someone that I know and they give me a puzzled look about what I am buying, especially when bumping into a kid that goes to the same school, >_<. Exactly though, why do people have to care what other people like? That's why I hope I can get into this field once schooling is done with. I'd love to be able to make great movies proudly like Bolt for the rest of my life, <3. -Blur

I love LBT! i have the origional VHS on tape and almost every movie made since. i haven't been able to get the more recent with lack of cash, and my people think i'm too old for it...but it's not that heart breaking when they've overkilling with a series and what not. course i haven't really given it a try at watching it, so we'll see what happens...
