Boy was that a pathetic run by my favorite race team Sunday. That car was no where near what Jeff wanted to be all weekend long. I hope they never bring that car to the track ever again, make it a showroom car or something, but not for competition...that was embarassing to watch.

Oh yeah, Jeremy Mayfield out of the 70 HAAS car according to Jayski; Johnny Sauter, who drove the racecar for the team last year, takes the ride over starting this weekend at Phoenix (Avondale, Arizona to be precise...lol)

I agree 110% with that comment, that was the most pathetic excuse for a car setup I've ever seen.. and I think that may be one of the worst races of Jeff's career so far! hendrick better their act together soon..

For anyone that missed it, Jimmie Johnson won at Phoenix Saturday night with a gusty call by crew chief Chad Knaus to stay out on the track and to stretch the fuel. Mark Martin who was in position to win had to come down pit road, finishing 5th.

No Cup race this coming weekend, but the Nationwide Series goes down South of the Border in Mexico.

Man that was one heck of a race out there in Talladega, the COT is perfect for the plate tracks! Sucks the Jeff continues to struggle this season.

Good car = wreck
Bad car = embarassment

Something needs to pick up, like beginning to finish races, simple as that.

I'm going to the Nationwide series race at RIR this weekend which I know will be a great show and I'm also going to meet Tony Stewart at the Home Depot location in Short Pump tomorrow.

I went and checked out Tony's car today and that thing was just built 2 weeks ago and is race ready. Gibbs has some really nice equipment! there wasn't a single scratch or blemish to be found nowhere!

Quick question: How would say the wreck in this video compares to Michael McDowell's Texas crash? It's not at a NASCAR race, I admit. But it still scary.

Looks a bit like Sdaler's flip at Talladega October 2003.

One thing to consider this weekend, the last time Darlington laid down a new surface was in 1995. Drivers during the two Darlington Goodyear tire tests went over 200mph into turn one. With the new asphalt, this weekend will be very interesting.
