Other people's reaction is not my fault, intention and problem anymore. Also people tend to stop on one part of my story but you can see a sine wave in Kodi's behaviour and morals.
Anyway, this isn't a topic about it, right?

Intention I agree with. But it's pretty irresponsible to say that the results of your work are not your fault or concern. If someone takes what you say or do out of proportion, it's best that you correct them. Besides, it's bad PR to do otherwise.

And no, that isn't the point of the topic. But then after your spectacular job of mud-throwing, how is it that you criticize others for campaigning for the opposite view?

I just had enough of KodiXDusty topics(there are 3 already) and those pointless discussions. I seriously wouln't mind if someone created and fan fiction about it, but there's nothing to argue about their relationship in the movie.

It doesn't seem to me that this topic is limited to the scope of the movie, though there's definitely room based on the movie to say that they saw eye-to-eye, or at least that Dusty thought Kodi was worth listening to. And there's a lot within the movie to suggest that Kodi would be a wiser choice than Ralph for Dusty - or any girl, really - to make long-range plans around. After all, just being fun only works for so long, and fun was really all Ralph had going for him.

Now those who say that Kodi and Dusty were a couple during the time frame of the movie, I agree, are taking things out of context. And it's no fun for me personally having to put up with the preconceptions people cultivate based on them. But to say that they ought to be a couple at some point is a perfectly fair suggestion.

Not really. Fanfics give us author powers. So director's word isn't law necessarily.

A fair point. But the canon never said they had to stay together. Looking at what was present in the canon, it's entirely possible that Dusty would tire of Ralph's immaturity and look for someone more grown-up like Kodi. After all, it's not like they were connected in the same way as Balto and Jenna, at least within the canon.

In other words, most of the evidence for the Kodi/Dusty pairing, however far-fetched some of it may be, does come from the canon.

You should know by now there's no talking sense into the rabid "Kodi/Dusty" people. Don't agree with them and they pretty much flame ya till you do. lol

^ No one's forcing you to read what I say, there. If ya don't like it, don't reply. Didn't think it was to hard to understand. And there's a difference between 'flaming' and 'disagreeing'. I suggest you look those words up as you seem to confuse them.

This topic really should be locked. How many Kodi/Dusty topics do these kids need?

I was referring to overall hostory, not this specific circumstance. Besides, who's being a kid if it's not the one who gets all snippy and insults people's intelligence?

Getting back ON-topic, I think that, as far as Dusty and Kodi, it's a terrific pairing but, as stated earlier, uncanon. DT pointed out how they could have gotten together later on, and that IS a great idea, but as of the end of the film series, they are not a couple.

Why does this thread even still exist? There are already about three on this ridiculous topic - not to mention this one was brought back from the dead.

You never seem to raise that objection on threads pairing Jenna with Steele.
