Okay, this is the problem.

1.) I can't get a job for the fact of my grades, three classes have slipped so far.

2.) The job I'm trying to get, my older brother owns. It's called "P.U.G.S." (Professional Urban Ground Services) and/or "Coral Lawn Care."

3.) I will not, nor never will, take a part in drugs. Never have, never will. I will not take the risk on losing everything I have just to gain some money. It's not worth my whole life.

4.) I've been considering getting a job to buy the copyright, thank you. I am proud of my work and I want to sue the arse off of someone who thinks they can cross me. >_>

I've actually been thinking about buying copyrights since my "Copyright Infringment" topic (that was locked because it's "annoying." Ha.), when Bruno brought it to my attention.

I admit that I had used that cute little box thing you do for my 'Koa' wolf the first (or second, Dont recall) time I drew her. But, I had put that it was YOUR idea under it. I dont mind if people draw my chars, or use a pose I used, as long as they say that the chars belong to me, or say the idea/pose was MINE. So, I never really thought to ask or anything.

I think yer art is lovely, and I'd hate if you removed it.

Yes i as well would hate it if you removed your art. Your so wonderful at drawing one of my favs. on Balto Source. Stuped people copeing makes me so darn mad.

Wish i could help DDG all i can do is watch out for more people who steal the work. I dont know what else to do i never really had a problem like you. My art is to bad for people to copy

I have to agree with Steet here, actually. As I said to someone on another forum, if you have a character with minimal markings/colorations, there is no way you could avoid seeing similar things by other people who have never seen your character. Also, scars/cuts are very popular, as are black wolves, so its rather dificult to call theft on such a design.


I also have to agree here. I have seen so many topics by some of the more popular artists here (I'm not accusing anyone in particular) claiming that their art and/or character, or a more common complaint, style (oh gawd, I cannot stand this ridiculous accusation!) is being stolen by multiple people. Knowing many artists and being an artist, I have seen real theft, and in my time here, I've only seen two genuine thefts and were deemed so by the mods. The thefts I have seen called by many artists here seem to be more from paranoia, inflated egos, or other reasons related to those, and don't have much to stand on when calling "all these people are stealing my art/character/style!" Again, I am not pointing fingers, but I am taking my chances and standing up to say what I feel on the subject.

That aside, Lovely Little Emo, I would hate to see your art removed from this site. You have many original ideas, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so here *points to all the supportive comments in this thread*^^.

I hope you make your decision soon, DDG, cuz I'm trying not to find a comment very rude here. I'm being very patient, but just the same, I think this topic should be locked since its really open to artists who dedicatingly savior their originality (reminder: rants are basically for people who can relate). Wouldn't want people to fight about their personal views on sensiblility on here (its something that cannot be argued or won and should stay that way).
