It's a very sad thing that no human should be proud of. I heard about a specie of dolphin that lived on China's rivers that is now dead and gone (on other words, extinct). Unfortunately we, homo sapiens, are causing the death of our fellow animals, often for senseless reasons (ex: rhinos, tigers and bears are suffering horrible deaths due to Chinese medicine, that doesn't even work). I hope all those people in the world die in the same way as those innocent animals.
I totally agree with you Harpier, especially about the chinese medicine

. Asia isn't an animal-friendly country but ther are some good people among them. I hope they bad ones die like those poor inocent animals too.

a) Asia isn't a country
b) Don't be so judgmental. It's not like some Asian dude woke up some day thinking 'Ah, what a fine day... Say, is anyone in for poaching some endangered species?'
People usually have families to feed; if they could make a living in any other way but poaching, most would. But not everyone is as lucky as we are. But I suppose you couldn't care less about the well being of your fellow man, as you obviously consider the whole lot of us as Unter-species.
