They have their own versions of things, government, music, speech, land, and race. What this all about is countries differed views. We'll never get along in this subject, You have your punk version...things. And I'll stick with my punk US, and CA punk. It's that simple, why can't we agree to disagree. Same comment said over and over Starsky_Hiro you know music I don't it's the only thing you've said in this discussion. Also music is very well defined by a country. Sum 41 is stated in a lot bio a "Canadian" punk band. Not just a punk band, why do they put Canadian in the bio if it doesn't matter then why put it. To say where they band came from? No music is in a nation. This was clearly seen in WWI I listen to the music Germans, UK and Russain music, listen, German and Russia's music VERY DIFFERENT! Germany's music was very marshal. Lorena M, considered brilliant in Europe, not so much in the USA. Music and culture from country to country are very different if you know anything about music, you should know that. I listen to Frances top 40 music hits on my radio, it is entirely different style, not the lang they are speaking. How the music is, incredibly different, the hit Adrenaline I liked, nothing like US, or CA rock at all. Although they called it rock, I would say it's Alternative Rock. Point made there Starsky_Hiro, part of nationalism is music. No one has the same, the will never have a punk genre for all nations, it doesn't happen, it can't. You're the only one showing you don't know anything in music Starsky_Hiro if you know nationalism at all. Music can be defined by a country, it is. You can ask any historian, band, composer, or musician.

And yeah back to topic, love the Stooges BaltTheMagnificent, Iggy Pop is great and despite his age he still on top form, obviously not the chest cutting maniac he used to be but still a legend. Also yeah not many people like Misfits due to the whole Danzig, Only, Graves thing, you should see the arguements on Youtube they just goe on But I will always be a fan of The Misfits from Danzig era through Graves and into the three piece they are today

We've havent ever dissed a band here cause they not punk, listen to Metallica or something and it doesnt bother me its all about music tastes. What the problem had been was the calling of a band punk when they aren't, I dont mind Simple Plan at all, feel free to listen to them but call em pop not punk that was the issue... but yeah this is meant to be a board for discussing general Punk rock and the like so lets go back to that
