I'm not sure if this qualifies as teasing but anywho. I hate the Disney film Pinocchio (sorry), and so I wrote a review of Pinocchio on Amazon.com and I said that Balto was better (well, it is in my opinion). Of course, someone posted in the comments box and said:

'Balto sucked...Pinocchio rules!'

I just wanted reply and say, "Well sor-ree, but that's just my opinion." They probably never even saw Balto. But I'll live.

I've always had a problem with being a Balto fan. Everyone says that Balto is a giant piece of c****y s**t and doesn't exist. I just say that he is a true American hero that isn't Superman or Wonder Woman. Some people respect me because of my love of him and wolves while others go round saying I'm obsessed with a made up dog and animals that want to enslave the human race. My sister says that Balto was a b*****d and that I shouldn't love wolves, but love shopping instead.

Nah, I haven't been teased. Although I have been asked if I get the idea of all my wolfie drawings from Balto, much to my surprise. Err... I can't remember what I said.

wow sounds like some peope have it well bad... mostly in America but thats understandable as it seems most of the peeps on this site are American so it would be hard to have the majority of 'victims' being from another country. No one teases me really, only my mates slightly go at it but barely at all, it's more just a kinda

They're just not bothered as we all like different things. I happily use the university computers to flick about Balto source and wolf sites, no one cares, as no one bothers each other, I dont bother them etc...

But it's ok though if I ever was made fun of for likin Balto I could just walk away, Balto teaches you some cool stuff like that

Well as for me I get it from both sides. My parents think I'm weird because I like Balto but they respect my love for wolves . As for school, I get teased for liking Balto but I don't care. Everybody at school knows I'm a metal head and I hang out with emo/gothic/indie ect. Really my love for wolves and Balto don't compare to how much I get teased about my music! (Preps will never understand the complexity of good music)

Only 3 people know that I still like Balto (aside from everyone here): My dad, who knows I'm a member of BS, as well as a girl in my computer class. I also told one of my friends in my English class that I liked it for a report where we had to talk about people we interviewed. I was actually looking forward to him letting the whole class know, but for some reason, he didn't say anything about Balto. I have a feeling that people would start taunting me if they knew, but that works out better for me; then I can give them a piece of my mind and let them know I'm not someone you want to tease.

I'm never teased at school because I tell ABSOLUTELY NO ONE about it. There is one friend of mine who I told a few years ago because I was complaining to her about how my mom is mean to me because I like this and this and this (one of those things being Balto) and then she was like "I love Balto!" and we even watched it when she came over to my house, but that was a while ago so she probably doesn't think that I care for him anymore.

Anyway, the mom thing. I used to get tortured about my love for Balto by my own MOTHER! Yes, she had no respect for him because his movie was an animated movie, and she thought that I was way too old for "cartoons." Back in her day, older kids didn't watch cartoons because there were barely any in existance back then, but nowadays, everyone watches them. Anyway, she found out that I wrote fanfictions about him and she would start yelling at me because "i had no life" and i spent "all my time writing stories about...BALTO!" Yeah...it was pretty rough.

But now, no one knows of my love for him, and I plan on keeping it that way. I have enough people to talk about it with here, anyway. BS and this forum are such good places to go to because we all share the love of the same thing!

Nobody cares in reality if you like Balto or not, it's because they know you'll react to it if they found out or if they call you names for it. If you be honest about it and don't be ashamed then noboy will care.
