You discovered Balto because Balto 3 came out?
So the sequels aren't that bad, don't you think? You would probably not know about it if it wasn't for the sequel then?

You know what, I've just watched Balto. In fact, it was a long time since I didn't watch it entirely. And there, I know why I'm so much a fan.
Really...I really think this film is just perfect! With time, I should see flaws, and yet it's all the contrary : the more I see it, the more I think the animation is the most gorgeous ever made...And by seeing bits by bits, I don't always see how much this film is based on feelings.
Yes, perfect...That's the right word.

Very true.
As I said, two times I watched it (I ususaly never watch a movie 2 times, not in such a short period) and both times it took me actualy 2,5 hours to see it, because I allways re-watched the beautifful scenes so I don't miss ANY detail, usualy even thinking in the personage role.

I really cant remember what got me hooked!! But I know it was because it was about huskys (which are my favorite dog) and that it was just such a cute movie!! I love how it starts out with real people (Rosey and her grand-daughter, and not to mention the totally cute husky pup Blaze)
And no matter what Ive loved at the end, when she says "Thank you Balto, I would have been lost without you." It makes me tear up soo much!! :(
So pretty much the whole feeling of the movie got me loving it.

After getting the meaning of hook,I'd like to say there are two points hook me a lot:the screen of howls and when everyone say:"Thank you,Balto"(It nearly makes me cry.No reason)

Well in my situation its kinda weird. I saw the ending in 2002 on YTV and was pretty angry that i missed it, but eventually I forgot about it. Since then my like for canines grew. Then last week i saw that YTV had dog days of summer and i watched it this saturday. Saw the entire thing and loved it. Problem is i want to see it again and i only recorded half of it!!! ARGH!! So i guess you can call me an 'Extremely new fan!' Sorta feel kinda stupid, seeing that after TEN years of its release i finally watched the entire thing...

I always said that showing it on TV could only be a good thing
Don't worry about having to wait 10 years to see it, I for myself absolutely never heard of it before about one year...(I started the site near immediately after seeing it)

Balto won? Wow...Well that's probably because most people had already seen the fox and the hound and not Balto?
