I do have some of my own: _ Murasaki Shikibu (Most Iconic writer of Japan) - "Tale Of Genji", anyone? _ Haruki Murakami - Norwegian Wood - Dance Dance Dance _ Natsume Kinnosuke - The Tower Of London --> http://www.peterowen.com/pages/nonfic/tower.htm_ Takuboku Ishikawa - Romaji Diary _ Michelle Paver - Chronicles Of Ancient Darkness, rather easy to keep up with the story _ Edgar Allan Poe (Victorian Gothic Horror) _ William Sydney Porter (O.Henry) - Various Short-stories

Dingo wrote: His Nomness wrote: Jack London and Stephen King. (both deceased) How is Stephen King deceased? Is that some sort of deep metaphor? Because he's still alive in the physical sense...I've been meaning to read some of his books, but I have yet to get to them. Stephen King is still alive? Yikes! My bad!
