"Aha," Orion said looking away. At least he didn't give his true name.... "So," he began awkardly. What were they doing here and what did they want? He looked back up into the sky at the dancing lights. "What aer you all here for?"

"Aurora was running away from some other wolves." Shadow said to Orion. "Or was it dogs? I can't really remember. Anyway, I found her and I led her here. I live here by the way," he added. Then he sighed and looked back up at the Aurora Borealis once more bafore turning and walking back to the others.

Orion huffed a sigh in relief. Then, he turned away and began to head back to his own home, continually watching over his shoulder, making sure he wasn't being followed.

Okami bounded after Orion and smiled.

"Hey," Orion growled nervously, "Back off!" He walked forward again, tail lashing. He was solitary with the stars: He didn't need any companions, and he especially didn''t want strangers following him.

Okami cocked her head sensing his lonelyness. She perked her ears in a friendly way, and trotted up besides Orion, and gently bit his ears.

Orion shyed away, but realised this wolf was friendly; she was only trying to help. Hsi tail wagged slightly as he saw her bounding leaps of what looked to him like joy; surely these wolves were friends? "Hello," he greeted her, still standing apart from the two wolves, "What is your name?"

Shadow looked back to see Okami following Orion and smiled amusingly. Then he began to lead Aurora away so that the new couple oculd have a little bit of privacy. He even needed some privacy himself.

Okami, yours" She walked besides him bunping her tail into him and licked his neck.

Orion pulled away, but said, "I'm..." he looked back at the leaving wolfess guiltily. "My name is Orion," he finnished. Feeling stupid to have felt so meanly towards the small band of wolves, he said, "'Okami' is a nice name, I do like it." He flicked the she-wolf with his tail in a friendly way. But he was weary; never before had he had friends, never had he met such friendly wolves, like Shadow and Okami. He felt abashed by his rudeness, but shook his head. He was right not to trust them, and he especially didn't know what to do with them.
"Where are you heading off to?" Orion asked nervously. Had they seen him speak with the Spirits?

Our pack had been killed so we just roam. What's wrong? you seem alone and sad?" Okami stared into his eyes for a moment trying to read him. "you don't trust me do you?" looks away.

Orion shrugged. "I won't say I don't trust you... I have just never been given a reason to trust anyone, that's all." He turned and began to head back to Okami's friends. "I'm sorry about your pack," he said to the she-wolf. "Come, let us see how I can help you and your friends." Okami seemed alright; as did these others. He would give them a day to prove themselves worthy of his life. If they even hinted in any way anything Orion didn't want them around for, he would send them away.

Okami sensed his distrust but perked her ears and walked after him. "Hmm i have to prove myself..." She thought to herself, and a brilliant idea came to her as she lead Orion to her friends.

Orion sheepishly ducked his hea dto the other wolves. "Hello, my nam eis Orion, not Oriton." he glanced at Shadow, feeling his pelt prickle with shame. "I can take you to a safe place; my cave is hidden behind large bouldres and plants, you'll be safe there."

Okami smiled and bumped shoulders with him.
