Jack you wish for a proper argument? Fine, firtsly look at the poll, looks like Sonic is winning don't you? Secondly Sonic is not just Robotnick, have you even played Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow The Hedgehog? Eggman is not the main boss in any of them, I find high speed games, more enjoyable then slow bouncing on enemy games, and the characters have no depths what so ever, not even Mario, and Sonic does not add 100 new characters, and the ones they do only are usually bosses that last a game, the main characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Amy and maybe Rouge. The games have kept up with the times, and I have seen adverts for the sonic game for Wii and PS3, and none for Mario, Sonic has been on Gameboy, PS2, Nintendo Gamecub, Will, PS3, Xobox, Xobox 360, Nintendo DS. Has mario been on all those? No. And also just so you do not come up with the same argument over and over again which seems to be that Sonic is stupid, that is not even an argument in the start. Another point is that Sonic had a movie length film which actually unlike most cartoons that become movies, was not half bad and was quite popular, also another factor is that despite the fact Mario is older, Sonic is a strong rival with Mario, and in less time has made it just as big as Mario. I want to say this one more time to you Jack, Sonic has come a long way in a shorter time then Mario and is just as popular, Mario is a classic, no doubt about it, but I really think that Nintendo will have to come up with something a bit different for Mario games before Mario fans, which I used to be think. "Wait? Wasn't this game, just like the last one I bought?". Why spend nearly £40 on a game that never changes?

Argument Invalid. Sonic pretty much never changes...Mario Does change..some new element is almsot always added. If people say Mario onlyh as Bowser then it's only right to say sonic has only Eggman.

Just because people say something is true does not make it so. Face it, your not right..I never said I was i was stating why I liked mario more and I get bashed because some kids cannot take my opinion. Instead they waste their breath trying to prove me wrong but fail in eveyr attempt to. This thread fails....badly.

And Also for the record. People buy tetris still....it never changes...people bought the doom games..they didnt change, people bough Call of Duty...not much changing there,...people bought GTA..nothing really changed. Sports games..well yeah I think you get the picture. so if you bought any of those games you cannot say a word to anyone....once again.. Ultimate Thread Failure.

Unlike me I dont try to show people up, I do actually know what I am talking about here, been gaming for 13 years of my 16 being alive. And btw..I am about to report you for foul language..so watch what you say. Also, I know everything Ive been saying about the games aside from my opinion is right..because...I've played most of the Sonic and Mario games, Your just here for the sake of attempting to irritate me. I know your angry, you always have a deep hate for me..and I can really care less about someone who spites me.

Here is a big tip for everyone wanting to debate, Know your facts and dont spit out fasified ideas. Read sources and play before you talk. I respect peoples opinions until someone says I'm either wrong or what say is not true...its an opinion...everyone has a different one. Your opinions are no what bother me..its your lack of knowledge and lack of understanding that I am speaking some of the truths. Respect comes to those who listenin.
