I haven't seen it in a long time since I got rid of DVR from my cable company. My fav charecter is Justin.

I like Justin's opening line,reveal thy name.

What scene?

the author is robert c. o'brian. it's a very good book, but it is a bit different from the movie. i enjoyed both the movie and the book greatly. there is a secret of nimh 2 (of course). it was a bit stretched, if i remember correctly, but hey, i enjoyed that one too.

the first one I liked. The second one though could of been a little revamped.

I pretty much am obsessed with this movie. Greatly disapointed by the second movie though, although if I didn't watch the second movie again I would have forgot the first film completely so I guess it isn't too bad for reintroduceing me to the first movie. Oh and btw one of my friends by the screen name Aurora Griffin is working on a prequel to The Secret Of NIMH that goes as far back as Justin's and Jenner's past lives on a different planet. It is highly animal rights related though for the forewarning if you chose to read the fan fic, lots of disturbing sad parts. There used to be a message board where there was a role play that was a sequel to the first movie but a bunch of trolls attacked and the whole project went to hell so the artist is sensitive when it comes to people attacking her work. Well I hope you enjoy her work.

part 1 of the fan fic here has Renner also the past life of The Secret Of NIMH's Jenner: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... r-63561272

Part 2 here is suposed to be a lot more informative on a consumer level with no violence in this part: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... t-63634664

Part 3 is where it starts to become a bit dark again, even has a sword fight: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... r-63689355

Part 4 this one is pretty sad once again: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... y-63700858

Part 5 This one part here is about the Underground much like the underground railroad for the past slaves of this world: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... d-63724636

Part 6 The Elder Fugitive here is the one that is the past life of the movie character Justin: http://auroragriffin.deviantart.com/art ... e-63800313

I love The Secret of NIMH! My favorite character is Justin.

I loved the book and the film. It's one of Don Bluth's greatest achievements, and one of the best animated films I've seen - up there with Bambi. The Bluth-less sequel however, SUCKED.

I LUV this movie. Ever since I was little (I think the first time I watched it was in first grade), I have been intrigued by the dramatic sense of storytelling, the dazzling animation and the loveable and relatable characters (despite the fact that most of them are animals). It didn't scare me at all (however, the horrible sequel did - LOL).

It's touching, emotional, and something that should last forever. A pure classic.

Now why couldn't the sequel be just as good? I was disappointed by it and wasted 10 bucks on it. *WEEPS*
