It's a very good fanfic,and no offense is ever taken by me,here's a little hint,Dusty goes out to bring back a family member.

What's so wrong with gay characters? Is it so wrong that they like someone of the same-sex? -shakes head- Sad world to see that we all fight like cats and dogs over who a character can like or can't.

It's not so much that, Drew. If you really look at what people like Ac and I have been saying, at least (I cannot speak for others and their beliefs, however), it's the reshaping of existing cartoon characters...CHILDREN'S cartoon characters, to suit the "I have a right to write whatever the h*ll I want" mindset of teen and college-aged writers, who think that changing them around like that somehow "improves" upon them, or makes them "more interesting". To dedicated fans of these existing characters, it's offensive.

Making up brand new characters, who are gay or bi, is a whole different matter. That's within the purvue of the writer. Even if it's implausible making an ANIMAL gay or bi. Or even if it is morally-questionable to post fan fictions about gay and bi characters (and characters engaged in incest), or extremely-violent characters, on a kid-friendly site. That's what they've been talking about.

Oops. I stepped back into this. But only to offer a civil explanation. Not to debate or argue.

Yes it is a children's cartoon, but putting aside that. It seems its a huge war that these characters are gay. I can understand no graphic fics, but completly banning a fic because two characters are gay on any subject I don't think thats right. As long as the fiction doesn't have a highly sexual scene, I think it should be allowed but only with minor sexuality like you know a nuzzle etc. hints I suppose, but all together banning it, just seems a little wrong on others rights.

NO WHERE did Steet say that gay/incest fics will not be allowed. As long as they are not very gory, have too much violence, have descriptive sex scenes, based on distrubing matters/political matters, have characters swearing for no reason, or have plagerized material will it be allowed. Again, Steet did NOT say that gay/incest fics are banned.

Actually, I do agree that "gay" is against the teachings of the Bible, but it doesn't mean that we should exclude them or not accept them for who they are.

It's like the whole theme in the original Balto: "accepting others for who they are, not excluding them because of their differences - whether it be breed, gender, color, race, sexual orientation, etc." Balto was half dog and half wolf, yet he felt as though he couldn't be accepted by either side. But thanks to his intuition and skills that he had inherited from the wolf, he became a hero and found out that he did belong. (Of course, ignore the technical details with the sequel, and we'll all good.)

Geez, you guys, why can't we just stop this stupid fighting? We all know that some jerk-off (no offense, I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular, mind you) is still gonna hate the fact that people are still writing incest and gay fics. Too bad, so sad, they just have to deal with it. Either warn the reader first, or don't read it at all, thanks. It'll save the "haters" a lot of useless breath and rantage.

is wrong, I've never said that. I've said that gay stories can be allowed IF they respect all the other rules, and as this couldn't be made into an official story (no gay content in animated films), it would have to be rated PG.
