Well, THAT part isn't fighting. It's stating that a problem exists (actually, several problems) which need to be dealt with. I stopped fighting with those two about two pages back...

Well, I don't want to retype everything I said, but this site needs a good house-cleaning and kick in the tush!
Those who get special dispensation (and that IS happening) need to no longer get it. They need to be treated EXACTLY the same as the rest of the members. And those moderators who are afraid to take hard steps to deal with troublemakers (no matter WHO they are) need to freakin' take those steps and not worry about consequences. Why else were they given their moderator duties if not to MODERATE??
And we all DO need to face the fact that there is a lot of discontent and grumbling going on, and pent-up pressure building to a dangerous level. It needs to be vented out. People NEED to argue this out (of course, WITHOUT flaming...and that CAN be done, because it's been done in other internet forums).
And, finally, we need to stop deifying certain select members who have submitted material to this site. Example? "Fan clubs". PFF. "Interview" threads. PFFFFF. They are just people. Just members. And they no more deserve any special treatment, or special dispensation, than any other member. From the one who just joined, to the very first person to join since Steet started the site (and, if I'm not mistaken, that might well be Dingo).
