"Because I'm lovable?" Kat said meekly, a grin on her face. This was all a joke to her, a fun time, funny kicks. She had been changed into an orange jumpsuit all read. She wouldn't be returning home tonight.

Arthur scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Not. A. Chance." He frowned, turning quickly on his heels and walking up to the officer. He waltzed out of th station, and back home. Once home Alfred sat, and Arthur had to explain tohim the whole situation, and the American reluctantly called in and signed a check for her bail.

Prison didn’t really change Kat all too much. People didn’t pick on her because she was everyone’s pet. The month sped past, but Alfred had visited once, so Kat got the feeling he was disappointed with her.

A month passed and Alfred and Arthur had surprisingly argued, a lot. Alfred didn't likethe fact Arthur refused to pay her bail, and Arthur said that she deserved to rot in prison like th Wanker she was.

Kat had been anticipating the day, but when it came it was like Christmas hadn’t decided to come. They dressed her in the clothes she came in with and shoved her out the door. No big ceremony, no heartfelt speech, just a “Stay outa’ Prison, white trash” And a shove out the door. Kat stood on the side walk, looking around, confused.

"Kat gets out of Prison today." Alfred noted, taking a large swig of his coffee. Arthur huffed, looking up from his book.
"Wpuld you like to throw a party?" He asked snidely.

Kat walked around a bit, and then slowly realized that she didn’t really have a ‘home’. Other than Alfred, but she had a feeling that she wasn’t welcomed there. Unsure of what to do, Kat headed over to the lot, the car was still there, and the tree. She smiled brightly and walked over to the car. She swung into it and sat in it for a long time, trying to think of ways to get to Alfred.

"Dude.." Alfred whined, standing and picking Arthur up bridal style, carrying him over to the couch.
"G-Git! Put me down this instant!" He helped, and Alfred sighed, pinning him to the couch.
"Forgive me okay? I just don't want her to die in jail.."

Kat looked out the window, this car ment so much to her. It was more than just an old truck that didn't run anymore, this car was her childhood. She sucked in her lips and found the blankets that her still in the glove compartment. Kat pulled them over herself and shivered, even though it was summer, sh was cold. Or maybe she was just empty.

"Fine.." Arthur hummed from under him, relaxing a bit.
"I am kinda worried though dude...Where is she?" Alfred asked, sitting back and looking aroud

Kat looked out the window for a long time, trying to imagine the car with a roaring engine, a car she could drive, and just go back on the road. But where would she go? Probably back to her old ways, and that wasn't good.

"I don't know." was Aryhurs only reply.

Kat finally felt herself cry. As she traced her finger along the surface of the window, she felt tears stream down her face. She had no one. No parents, no family, no friends, no Alfred, no Arthur...She rested her face in her hands, arching her neck and sobbing quietly. She hadn't cried in a long time, not since her parents death.

Both boys sighed, sitting back on the couch. Alfred thought for a moment, before it hit him, where Kat was.
"I need to go find Kat, Arthur." He stated, standing and grabbing his coat. Arthur opened his mouth, before sighing, and a sad defeated look came across his face.
"Yeah alright. Go get her Alfred, and why don't you stay with her? Since you love her so much." He scoffed, getting up and exiting the room. Alfred sighed, and jogged out the door. He hopped in his truck, and drove down the road to his tree, knowing some how that was where Kat'd be. He parked, and looked up in the tree, searching the limbs with his eyes. Alfred sighed angrily, before turning to look at the truck, and perking when he saw Kat inside. He frowned, knocking on the window and opening the door, before joining her inside.
"Hey..I see...you're out of jail." He said quietly, poking her leg.

Kat hadn’t seen him coming, if she had, she would have dried her eyes quickly and put a smile on.
“Yeah. I guess.” She said, acting tough, but looking like a puppy that had been kicked.
“D*mn it…I messed up…” Kat said very quietly.
