Rochelle sighed in relief, giving the pup a lick before nudging him into the den. "Thank goodness.." Rochelle said. "He disappears so quickly." Nickel padded into the den and lay down, yawning.

Shane smiled at the pup, and turned, begining to walk off.

Tony looked over and stood up. "Hey..Shane.." he called.

Shane didn't turn, but his ears flicked in Tony's direction.
"Hm?"

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:27 am

"I'm sorry.." he apologized. "I snapped..i didn't mean to..i wasn't really thinkin...i'm sorry i yelled.."

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:32 am

"It's fine. Sorry too." Shane said, before flicking his ears forward again, and padding slowly off.

Tony sighed and lay back in his spot.

Shane returned to his spot by the river, and went to sleep.

.::The next morning::.

Shane had woken several hours before sunrise, so he went for a swim and then stayed up.

Rochelle had slept outside the den that night and woke up just as the sun began to rise.

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:53 am

Shane yawned and trotted up to the den, to see Rochelle awake.
"Hey, Chelle, can I talk to you, like, alone?" He asked.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:59 am

Rochelle perked and looked over. She nodded and got up, leaving Tony asleep at the entrance of the den as she padded over to Shane.

Once out of earshot, Shane looked at Rochelle.
"Nickel talked to me. We had, a, whole conversation. But then when i took him back..he will apparently only talk to me..?"

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 1:04 am

"He talked?" Rochelle tilted her head. "I would have never guessed...he hasn't made a peep. He came home and was silent like always." she said, then she smiled. "He's very close to you."

Egg · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 1:09 am

Shane chuckled.
"I taught him how to fish, and he just..opened up." Shane said with a small laugh.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:49 am

"That's amazing.." Rochelle said. "Well...looks like he does have a voice." she paused. "I wonder..why he never talks around anyone else..?"
