Snowy nodded, "So do any of you want to come with us, and start a new life away from here? We already have dens, and a good food supply. You can learn to hunt, and live freely," She stated.

A few of the dogs came forwards, "We will!" they said together. One was a black and white muttish looking dog, one was a brown and tan German Shepherd, and one was a bicolor German Shepherd.

"I guess I could come too," a shy looking female stepped forwards.

"Awesome!" The bicolor shepherd smiled.

The tan shepherd wagged his tail.

The mutt wagged her tail also, "What are we waiting for?! Let's go!" she smiled happily.

Snowy smiled as she surveyed the new dogs with her eyes. They seemed like good, strong pups. "Let's go, then!" she wagged her tail, beckoning the others to follow her..

Snowy lead the way to where Mack, Tybee, Dark, and Ace were waiting. "We're back!" she announced when they arrived.

Tybee lifted his head, and came out of the bushes and stopped nose-to-nose with the new recruits. "Hello!" he yipped, "My name's Tybee!"

The new dogs shied away from him at first.

"My name is Mackenzie, you can call me Mack, though," Mack said as he came out from under the brush, yawning loudly, and stretching after his nice, long nap.

"My name is Tyler!" The bicolor shepherd announced.

"I'm Alexander," The tan shepherd woofed proudly.

The shy female murmured her name, which was Gracie.

"And I'm Maxine," the mutt finished her group's introductions.

Tyler nodded, "Where do we live?" he asked Snowy.

"It's right this way," she said, leading the pack through the woods.

"We might have to add a bit more room for them," Mackenzie noted, "We can do that before nightfall, tho," he nodded.

"yea, it'd be a little cramped if we didn't," Tybee commented.

"Alright, kiddos," Mack said, "Help me drag a few tree limbs and some leaves over here," he grabbed a big stick with his mouth.

The young dogs helped drag and set up the building materials of their new home. Then, with great triumph, they all went inside, and lay down, falling asleep quickly.

Tybee grinned as they fell to sleep, "Should we make the dens joined?" he asked.
Snowy nodded, "Yea, let's do that really fast," she went inside and tore down most of the wall, "Help me drag out the extra branches!"

Mack followed inside and drug out some of the old branches, leaning them against the sides of the pups' den.

Tybee yawned and went inside, sleeping in between the adults and pups.

"You don't have to keep watch," Snowy stated simply to Dark as she walked inside the den, "No one'll show up, most likely..." And with that, she curled up in between Tybee and Ace and went to sleep.

Mackenzie yawned as he went into the den, and lay down beside the entrance of the den. "Don't trip over me, Dark," he chuckled. "Wake me up when you get tired of sitting out there," he added, on a serious note.

Mack nodded, "Well, you can anyways," he said, as he drifted off into a dreamless sleep. He saw nothing, for a while. Just black, calming, darkness.
