Angelica ran with them, following Riley who was flying up ahead. She rolled her eyes at Arthur's comment that she should be running with them, but decided to keep her mouth shut. They all eventually stopped by a river. Angelica sighed; she may have been rather sporty, but she never was really good at swimming. Her cheeks were already red from the cold, but now they had become even more red from her embarrassment that she couldn't swim well, but she didn't admit it to the others.
She then noticed Arthur, passing out, and rushed up to him. "Arthur!" She gasped as she wondered what happened to him. She didn't even notice Riley landing back on the snow, but when she heard her fall, she looked back at her, concerned for a moment, and then turned back to the British guy. She listened to what Jack said, but didn't say a word.

John sighed, sitting in his office-like room. "I need to find her." He picked up a bag and put a few needles and several other strange stuff in his bag, then some food and clothes. "Hopefully they won't notice me." He whispered as he put on his coat and some gloves. He picked up the bag and started walking down the corridor, ignoring the horrified people in the cells staring at him. After a few more doors he finally reached the door that lead outside. He walked behind the building, as the window they jumped out of was pretty far from the main entrance.
John noticed some shoe footprints. "It's probably theirs," He wondered as he begun following them.

Angelica suddenly felt someone's hands on her arms, turning her around to see Xander. "What-" she began, but was interrupted by his kiss. She was a little bit startled in the beginning, but then felt herself close her eyes and she kissed him back. However, she quickly opened her eyes again and pulled away. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure what I think about you yet." She heard herself murmur as she turned away from him. Her cheeks were red. She kissed Xander, a guy that wasn't popular... But she liked him. She didn't even know what to say or think, so she kept quiet and acted like nothing just happened.

Xander grinned, She kissed me! he thought, she pulled away but only after she had kissed him back.

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure what I think about you yet." he heard her say and he looked at her when she turned away "Ya' know Angel?... I find that kinda hard to believe..." he said softly putting his hand gently on her shoulder not expecting a reply, he had a feeling she liked him... maybe more than he knew? However he knew because he wasn't popular she couldn't admit she liked him.

Alfred shook his head again.
"Wake up you bas****!" He growled at Arthur sadly. The brit stirred once more, before his eye flicked open.
"Whh..." He murmured, shivering. He propped himself up on his elbows, enough to see Alfred laughing.
"Soo, i have to talk like him to wake him up huh?!" The american snickered, rubbing the funny fron his eyes when he saw Arthur glaring.
"W-what in the name of bloody he** are you talking about?" He asked, then blinking a few times at the sight of the lake. Urgently, he began scooting away. He quickly stood, and felt immediantly lightheaded, causing him to fall back against a tree.
"Arthur what the he** is wrong with you?" Alfred asked, looking at the lke.
"I-we can't cross that..no...Im not getting in there, you cant make me." Arthur whispered, his eyes were far away and blank terrified expression on his face.

Angelica ignored Alexander's words. She felt so... strange. She liked him, she really did. But she couldn't admit she had a crush on the loner, on one of the people that wasn't popular. She sighed. She decided to pretend nothing happened between them now. Nothing happened, she didn't kiss him back... But it did happen. She did kiss him back. She did like him back. She closed her eyes shut for a moment, trying to clear her mind.
She finally opened her eyes, and then turned to Arthur who finally woke up, "B-but we have to go, somehow." She told Arthur meekly. Oh d*** how she despised him sometimes.

John silently walked through the woods, his shoes making a very quiet sound as they hit against the snow. He watched the footsteps that they left, silently getting nearer and nearer to them. "They probably went to the river," he shrugged, but he knew that they could just be about anywhere now.
Eventually, John heard a few noises. He hid behind a tree and turned to the direction he heard the noise from. It sounded very much like voices of people. "Hopefully it's them..." He thought, but didn't go any further. He was as silent as he could be, he also made sure the leaves would hide him so the girl who had wings couldn't spot him by simply flying up. The only problem was the sharpened senses of Angelica, Xander and Jack who could spot him easier. Still, they only had a few features of the animal at the moment. However, John still decided to be as careful as possible.

Jack watched as Arthur got up with a terrified expression on his face. He was about to walk up to him, but then stopped. "Why do I even care about that guy? At first I hated even seeing here, just like Alfred, and now...Am I seriously getting...Used to them? No. It won't happen." he thought, and then walked few steps back. He was no psychologist anyways. Okay, he had comforted many people before, but this wasn't the case: Arthur surely had some sort of terrible memory in him. Jack looked around at others, and smiled cunningly as he saw Xander's and Angel's kiss. "This had to happen. Sooner or later. You two look perfect anyways." he said, and chuckled, expecting to get a big smack on the head from Angel because of this, but he didn't care. Actually, he would've loved that: this place wouldn't be so harsh and dark when their laughs could be heard. But, at the same time, it would've been dangerous: those scientists could've heard them. But it didn't matter for him: as long as they were free from that hell now, he could've done anything that was funny. He looked around just in case, but didn't notice anything, and continued smiling and looking at the people around.

Arthur leaned against the tree, staring silently at the ground.
"Leave me. I c-can't go across that." He stated, voice icy and hollow. There was no feeling, anger or sadness. Alfred frowned at his friend, and walked over to him.
"Why not Iggy?" He asked, looking worried. He perked when Xander and Angel kissed, but just smiled faintly.
"I- no i just cant..." Arthur whimpered, looking away.

Angelica either not heard, or simply decided to ignore the remark of Jack's. Angelica ran her palm down her face, frustrated. She never was so angry at someone, "D***it, Arthur, did I mention I can't f***ing swim? And yet I do not whine about how I should be left here and oh my I can't and stuff! I can't, but I'll try, you have us, we'll help you, you f***ing idiot!!" Angelica yelled at him. She had never yelled at a person before like that.

"No, I can't!" She snapped. She sure was athletic, but she never really learned how to swim. Sure, she could try doing so, she knew the general idea of how to do so. Her face went red. She never told anyone, even her best friends that. She thought they'll make fun of her.

Jack looked at Angie as she snapped at Arthur. As awfully as it might've sounded, he had to agree with her this time. "Actually, we have nothing against you, Arthur, but I have to agree with Angel this time. You shouldn't be letting your memories and whatnot take over you. I admit, it happened to me a lot of times, but I learned to overcome it. I may not be the best example, but just in case. It's a choice of life and death. And you choose." he said in a calm voice to Arthur, deep in his heart still understanding why was he so against it. "And...That's not a problem if you can't swim, Angie. Not all cheerleaders are as perfect as they think." he said to Angie, smiling.

Arthur's head snapped up, temper rising once more.
"Da**it! I can swim you Bloody yank!" He snarled, not realizing Xander was asking Angel, the spark coming back to his eyes.
"DO YOU THINK YOU COULD GET IN THE DA** WATER AFTER WATCHING YOU FATHER DROWN!?" He barked, clenching his fists tightly, turning his knuckles white.

"I never f***ing said you can't, d***!"Angelica snarled, her fox like instincts kicking in, she wanted to bite him, bite that ba****. "I don't care what you have seen, I don't! You're slowing us down!" She snarled, her fox like teeth bared. She really didn't know what got into her, she never was so aggressive before.
