Rue found herself running after Setsuko, without telling herself to do so. Atleast we got it over with, she thought, trying to be optimistic. She was soon emerging from the cave, bright sunlight making her pupils dilate.

Setsuko unfurled her glider. Jaci hopped on, and they flew off, back towards the cabin. The whole task thing could be discussed there.

Rue watched the lake fly by underneath her again, her mind buzzing with questions. What was the task? How would they get back home? She landed lightly, holding back the questions. Setsuko wasn't likely to know either.

Setsuko landed in front of the cabin; Jaci bounded inside. Setsuko followed a bit more slowly, lost in thought.

Rue walked inside behind Setsuko the floor creaking a greeting as they walked inside.

"So what do you think that task Ayumu mention was?" Setsuko asked, her voice low.

Rue shrugged. "I don't know." she said, frowning slightly as she pondered over it.

"Me neither," Agreed Setsuko, pointing out the obvious. "After Ayumu left, I heard a voice on the wind saying that we would have to figure out the task ourselves. How do you think we'll know when we've figured it out?"

"I don't know," Rue said. She sighed heavily. "Maybe we'll just...know." she said, unable to think of how to describe it.

"I guess so. And one more thing." She concluded. "I think Ayumu is a spirit."

"No," Setsuko said impatiently, "Like a spirit. Like Tui and La, er, I mean, Yue and La, I keep forgetting that...like the Painted Lady, like Wong Shi Tong. In fact, according to descriptions I've heard, I think Ayumu might somehow be related to Wong Shi Tong. Can spirits be related?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know. I guess they could be," Rue said uncertainly.

"Well, I suppose so." Setsuko replied. "But Wong Shi Tong is the spirit of knowledge and Ayumu is possibly a spirit of dreams. Those are kinda similar, right? Ayumu said dreams have an impact on life. And they both look like long-necked owls. Or so I've heard, I've never actually met Wong Shi Tong myself, but my parents have." She added quickly.

"I guess they are kinda similiar. Knowledge and dreams are both forms of thought." Rue said. "Maybe spirits can be related."
