Tabbystar looked at Rainstorm. "Are you fit to go to the Gathering tonight?"

Rainstorm was taken by surprise. She didn't even expect to be asked. But she dipped her head. "Yes, Tabbystar," she meowed.

Tabbystar nodded. "Rest and eat- not that you havn't been doing that."

Rainstorm dipped her head in a nod.


Leafstar gained the attention of Shadowclan as she yowled, calling for a clan meeting.

Silverclaw limped into the clearing.

Familiar words followed, which most of the cats tuned out, waiting to hear the list of the one who would be going. A list of names followed, and Leafstar finally looked at Silverclaw questioningly. "Silverclaw?" In that word was a question, asking if she was well enough to make it to the Gathering.

"Yes, Leafstar, I'd like to go."

Leafstar dipped her head as a reply.

The full moon glinted in the sky, clouds threatening the glory of its light. A dark striped she-cat led a group of cats into the clearing. Tabbystar let her clan into the clearing, to find WindClan there only.

Rainstorm ignored her flank, which was burning constantly from the pain. She secretly hoped to find SIlverclaw here, both to ask questions, and posisbly get revenge in the form of a glare and a few harsh words. She wouldn't be able to fight tonight.

Silverclaw sat down in the clearing and chatted with a WindClan tom, Toadstorm.

Rainstorm spot a glimpse of fur, similair to her own pelt. She headed quickly towards it. Already, the cats of her Clan were chatting with others, and she wouldn't be noticed making her way through the crowd.

Silverclaw cotinued talk with Toadstorm, and didn't notice Rainstorm.

Rainstorm was only a tail-length away now. "Silverclaw!" she called out, her voice taking on a cheerful note, betrayed only by the edge of frustration that creeped into her voice.

Silverclaw caught sight of Rainstorm, and shifted her eyes quickly back to Toadstorm. "I'll be back." she murmured to the spotted tom, and made her way toward her sister.
