"Suki, apparently," Rust said to Sally. He looked at Titan. "And who said that makes you guys the leaders? How do I know that you are the best for this group?"
Suki rolled her eyes at Rust. "Just let it go."

"Because we've been through things you better hope and pray you NEVER have to go through." said Titan, very seriously. "That and you don't know the man we're trying to escape, me and Suki do."

An angry Lynx jumped out of the bushes and ran at them.
Sally saw this. "Shadow, help me with this." she said, turning and spraying the Lynx.

Suki gapsed, but before she could gather her bearing and lunge at the lynx, it was being sprayed by tons of musk.
Shadow turned and sprayed the lynx with her mother.

The lynx gagged and rolled on the ground, trying to get the stench off. It then ran away like a scolded dog.
"See, we do come in handy." said Sally. "That is more than enough to drive off a mean predator."

Luke walked over to Shadow. "Hi, I'm Luke."
"I agree, what about you Rust?" asked Titan.

Shadow scurried behind her mother when Luke approached her.
"Fine, they can come with us," Rust grumbled.

"Shadow, its alright, he won't hurt you." said Sally. "He's no older than you are."
"I'm just a baby like you." said Luke.
"Good, now how do we explain this to the others?" asked Titan.

Shadow crawled out from behind her mother. "I-I'm Shadow," she said.
"I'm sure they'll understand," Suki said. "Hopefully."

"Rust, you want to explain?" asked Titan, his look saying it was punishment for questioning the leaders.
"That's a nice name." said Luke. "So how are you?"

Rust was about to say no, but he decided against it with the look Titan was giving him. "Yeah, sure," he finally said.

"You're older than me, I'm only Six months!" said little Luke.
Titan nodded. "Alright, go do it and we'll stay with the skunks."

Shadow nodded, not knowing what to say to that.
Rust trotted off to find the rest of the group.
