Jamie and the rest were now getting tired and she decided to stop for the night and continue the long trip tomorrow, " There should be a spot for the pack to sleep right over there. I can add on to the den. Do you recognize it? Remember when you rescued me last year?" She asked, " That's the one I ran off to. And the one over there, was your old den. Then that one, was, Helga's." She smiled, " So many memories. Maybe we can just stay here Mike." She smiled, "Make new dens to live in too."

She kept on walking and smelt some caribou and said to Mike, "Hey, doesn't that grill look familiar?" She asked him.

Mike looked at the grill, now rusting and in disuse.
"Oh yeah. The burned caribou meat. That was actually very tasty, but the human was a jerk."
Mike looked around uneasly.
"Even with the man gone, I still don't like this place."

Jamie was already in the house before Mike ended his part of the talk. There was a loud bang as a cage door shut. Then an evil laugh, " Now, now I have one of you wolves that ran from me a while ago." Jamie then howled for the pack to come help her.

Mike let out an angry bark and ran through the door, instantly pouncing on the man and biting down on his arm to the bone. The man cried out in pain and stomped down on his tail, causing Mike to scream and let go. Suddenly, the man had a rope around Mike's neck, and it tightened everytime he fought. Mike soon gave up when he could no longer breathe normally, and the man forced him into the same tiny cage as Jamie. Mike was exhausted.

The pack of wolves lunged at the man and killed him. They then got the small cage opened and they both got out at the same time, " Wow Mike. That was horrible. I've never been put through that before in my life." She said.
