Mr. simpson looked at Lena with a sympathetic smile. He patted her head gently. "Guess your first then." he said, beginning to open one of the tubs.

Balto slowly woke up. He yawned and nudged Jenna. "Jenna, time to wake up."
Cachen was still asleep but in his sleep bit Kai on the tail.
Lena smiled and set down beside Mr. Samson. She loved being around humans.

Jenna groaned a moment, before yawning. "Alright, I'm up." she said with eyes still closed.
Kai jolted awake, fur on end from the bite. Slowly, he nudged Cachen.
Mr. Simpson smiled, taking a heavy piece of cloth and dipped it into the tub, before beginning to wash Lena down.

Balto chuckled and took his paw off her nose so she'd remember why they were up earliy.
Cachen, still sleep, just started to chew on Kai's tail.
Lena relaxed, glad the smell was going to be rinced off.

Jenna covered her nose back up, eyes opening within the same second. "Okay...NOW I'm awake."
Kai couldn't help it anymore, and yowled as softly as he could.
Mr. Simpson blinked, turning his attention away from Lena, to Kai and Cachen with a light laugh.

Balto chuckled, covering his nose. "Sorry, that was just the quickest way to wake you up." he looked at Cachen and Kai and chuckled.
Cachen didn't hear the yowl and kept chewing.
Lena chuckled at her brothers. "Papa." she said to Kodi nearby. "Wake up."

Jenna nodded, nudging Balto lightly. "Well that's not exactly the most pleasant thing to smell in the morning." she chuckled.
Kai's ears pinned back and he leaned down, gently tugging at Cachen's ear.
Kodi opened his eyes slowly, covering his nose a moment.
Mr. simpson smiled, going back to washing Lena off.

"I know." said Balto. "But everyone had to smell it this morning." he said with a light chuckle.
Cachen pulled his ear from Kai, still sleeping and chewing. "My bone..." he muttered, showing he was dreaming that Kai's tail was a bone.
Lena chuckled at Cachen. "Papa, Cachen is dreaming Kai's tail is a bone and chewing on it."

Kai sat up slowly, ears bending back. "There wouldn't happen to be any fur on that bone, Cachen??" he said, still in pain.
Kodi chuckled, shaking his head. "Kai will find a way wake your little brother up, don't worry."
Mr. Simpson laughed lightly, since he was human, he could not understand what the dogs were 'talking' about.

Cachen blinked and woke up. He let go of Kai's tail and pinned his ears. "Sorry bro." he whimpered and then froze when he saw there was blood on Kai's tail.
"Oh." said Lena, seeing Cachen. "Tai! Wake up! Cachen needs you!"
Balto pinned his ears. "Cachen...poor pup, being born afraid of blood must be rough for a dog."

Tai jolted up, looking about before spottintg Cachen. Giving a quick trot over, she carefully nudged Cachen away. "C'mon. Now, what happened?" she asked, looking concerned.
Kai blinked, looking back at his tail with surprise. Who knew?
Jenna's ears fell back. "Poor thing." she said, looking deeply concerned for her little Grandson.

Cachen looked at Tai, still a little sick. "I had a dream and I was chewing on a bone but in real life I was chewing on Kai's tail and I made him bleed and I saw it and...well you know how I get..."
"Bro don't just sit there wipe the blood off before Cachen sees it again." said Lena to Kai. She looked up and Mr. Samson, wondering if she was done yet.
"But we can't tell him its not normal, I mean its not his fault and the last thing we want is for him to think something is wrong with him." said Balto to Jenna.

Tai nodded. "I know, I know. You didn't mean to Cachen, we all know that." she patted his back as best she could.
Kai nodded, leaning down and licking the blood from the small puncture marks. He felt bad for his little brother.
Mr. Simpson nodded, gently rubbing down Lena's spine before giving her head a rub. "There you go."
Jenna nodded. "It's not that it's not normal..." she said, ears pinned to her skull. "It's just rare..."

"I don't like being this way Tai." said Cachen. "Being afraid of blood." he said. "Its hard."
Lena licked Mr. Samson. "Kai! You're turn." she said. Hoping out of the barrel and shaking off. She ran over and pulled Kai over by the ear. She let him go and covered her nose. "PU! It smells even worse now that I don't stink!"
Balto nodded. "Think he'll grow out of it?" he asked.
