When they were far enough, Sarah started explaining. "After Endom and I left, things went fine for the first few days. He was never cold or distant to me in that time, actually closer. Probably because he had a traveling companion. Anyway, after those days he got into a few fights with a few bad lone wolves, protecting me. We were never too far off, we could always see the plains slightly through the trees. Though... Because of Rusty calling him a coward before he left, he never let me treat his injuries, always saying 'only a coward lets his wounds get treated. I'm not going to prove that red furball right.' It always saddened me... So I came to get you, because I hoped you would understand..." She looked at the ground sadly as she kept walking.

Grace sighed and nodded, "He has never been the same, he is not the same happy angelic wolf I fell in love with. He is some miserable old bum that wishes he was dead. He keeps on saying 'it isn't worth for me to be here. You are better off without me' He also argues every little thing. I still love him but I don't know how much longer I can take it before I leave him. But if I do he'll kill himself."

The wolfdog's ears perked up and he lifted his head up, turning where only the left side of his face was showing, looking at the two females. He stared at them a moment before his eye roved over to Sarah. "Why is she here?" He asked, calmly. He seemed a bit more distant from Grace.
