Well, I'll say this in reply to that, Alaska Jenna:

1. I actually DESPISE conflict...but if there is no other alternative, I welcome it. I am no coward, nor do I believe in that whole concept of "just walk away" or "be the bigger man/woman". If a person is attacked, he or she has every right to respond...and an obligation to respond intelligently and expect the same back.

2. Sure, maybe there IS no cure for this. Maybe it will continue. In a forum populated mostly by minors, that's practically a foregone conclusion (and minors who love to create conflict can sure bring out the worst in those who would otherwise be peaceful and benevolent members...be they adults OR minors). But if hardline moderating is what's needed, and it can be accomplished in spite of friendships and loyalties, then that's what I'd like to see (especially if it reins in the troublemakers and egomanics...AND, I might point out, those who thrive on conflict, Alaska Jenna). And ZERO TOLERANCE for flaming of ANY kind, from anyONE. (And let's not make nothing out of something...definite flaming started with the second post on page 28.)

3. I actually don't dislike or hate, or even disrespect the moderators (the ones who are truly impartial, I mean; and who do their jobs in spite of friendships and loyalties). And I DON'T dislike or disrespect Steet (no matter what he might end up thinking about what I said above). BUT (and that's a big "but"!), I expect a certain experience when I come here. Balto Source is, in effect, a product. Created without profit, for free. Surely. As a work of love and fandom. But a product that offers services. Those services need to be maintained in such a way that EVERYONE can come here and enjoy themselves, not just the oldest members...or the most outspoken (and/or egomaniacal) ones. Or the ones who happen to post A LOT in the forums. Or who post fan art (be it really good, fairly mediocre, or really bad). And/or fan fiction...and/or fan videos, articles, etc. And/or those with enough friends (in high and low places) to give them some misguided sense of entitlement and power. PFF. It's offensive, exasperating and frustrating to have to deal with such spoiled BRATS. Especially when they are permitted (by design or through neglect) to continue their b.s. unabated, and without any expectation of facing any consequences.

Can you both stop fighting? please, one of you please be the mature one and stop, it takes two to fight, so one of you ignore the other, it's simple, so please because Suka is right, if this is what happens then personaly I really don't want to know how it will be in person.

I apologize for upsetting you, Ecliptica. And Suka. And it's a shame about Whitewolf(uk)'s thread. She worked hard at this. I hate to see her efforts dragged down by flaming and politicking.

Then show your respect for her by ignoring those who keep fighting with you, if you stop, they will stop, so be the one who ends it by stop the fight on your end, and if you say your a loser and weak for doing then and who ever says that it wrong, because that is not weak it shows you are very mature and it shows Whitewolf(uk) your respect, and so much more.

Alright...reprimand taken, and accepted. I hereby withdraw my forces back behind my entrenchments...

LOL - that, I suppose, depends on one's point of view. But I have always tried to live in obedience to Steet's site rules, and to be benevolent, helpful and sociable with the members here. But then, I'm also part Italian...and the blood runs hot.

As a post-script, though, that doesn't invalidate my concerns about what's been going on in the forums, etc. Those things still need to be dealth with.
