Adam ~
Feels pretty good. He grinned and looked at Nick. Nick hugged Adam in a brotherly way. If it wasn't for this guy though, I wouldn't be standing here now talking to you. He said and grinned.

Villina cried tears of joy and laughed, she danced around the house with the kids, having a great time, she kept an ear out for any sound of a car or truck. She finally settled the kids down and they waited... and waited. She had the kids watch Disney and kept glancing out the window.

Adam ~
He had his truck brought to him, where he drove home by himself. He knew the kids would be dieing to see him and so would Joker. Adam smiled and hoped he hadn't missed anything as he pressed the gas a little harder to reach the speed limit.

Haley & Mason ~
They watched the T.V, smiling they knew that their daddy was coming home but it also upset them. They sat on the floor and frowned some, when Adam walked through the door and stood in the doorway of the living room, Haley and Mason stood up and walked slowly over to him. Why did you leave so long daddy? They said, voices cracking. Don't you love us? They said and cried.

Villina stood and watched the kids greet Adam, she was surprised when they started crying and walked over she bent down to the kid's level of sight "of course he does, right Adam, I mean daddy?" she asked looking up at him from their level, trying to re assure them fully.

Adam ~
He bent down and nodded. Pulling them into a hug. Yes, of course. He couldn't believe his own kids would think that little of him. He wiped their tears and kissed their foreheads.

Villina smiled and stood, problem solves, from the looks of it. She walked into the kitchen, opening the oven door and pulling out a batch of chocolate chip cookies, she held them up and put them on the counter. The yummy smell spread. "Now," she said, looking at the kids and Adam, "who's up for a good 'ol batch 'o' cookies?"

Haley & Mason ~
They perked up and wiped around to see the cookies. We are! They exclaimed and grabbed Adam's hand. Leading him to the cookies aswell. They were all happy again. Adam chuckled and followed them.

Villina laughed and took them off the pan, making sure they weren't hot and then placed them in the children's hands. She put the rest on a plate.

Max stuck his head out the door of his room and came into the kitchen, snatching a cookie, hugging his sister and shaking Adam's hand before retreating back into his room.

Adam ~
He had to start his job at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and he felt like it would be just around the corner. He grinned at Max and then sat with the kids. He relaxed as Joker came up and licked his elbow. Adam loved his dog very much.

Villina sat on the floor and watched Mage and Magic wrestle. The kid's pups ran around and she herself took out a book after a while and read, happy to be in a safe, family environment. She got really into her book, it was a real page turner, and after about a half an hour finished it. She got out a magazine and flipped through it.

Adam ~
He ate a cookie and stood up. He kissed the kids and then went to Villina. He put his hands on the back of the couch and leaned over, kissing her on the cheek before going into the bathroom to get a shower.

Villina smiled and watched him go into the bathroom. She needed to practice, she rode professionally and she had the animals to take care of, being a vet was hard to work. She had a show coming up and twelve animals in the office. She needed to talk to Adam about their hours of work so the kids could be watched, but then again, her brother could watch them, but from the way he was staying in his room, she knew he was working too. She sighed and flipped through the magazine more, occasionally looking up to make sure the kids were playing nicely.

Adam ~
He came out of the bathroom with a towel around his neck and nightpants and a t-shirt on. He sat down in the chair beside Villina. Today has been pretty good. He said. Hoping to spark a coversation.

Villina nodded, "It has, hasn't it?" she giggled cutely, "It sure has... " she said, trailing off, she didn't know what to say, but she did want to have a real conversation with him. "You know, I have everything I've ever wanted, kids... a husband... a nice house. Thank you for loving me, thank you for loving the kids." she said, she smiled lovingly at him.

Adam ~
He smiled and grinned. Your welcome. Thank you for being here for me and the kids. He said and chuckled some. He lifted the flap of his shirt and looked at the cut. It was small.
