David woke up in the morning and sighed. He asked himself while looking at Temple sleep "Why am I so fond of her? My fondness of her is more than love yet she isn't fond of me it seems. She wouldn't even say she's sorry when she hurt me as much as I hurt her or even more. But I deserve it though. I wish I was a better mate than I am."

David licked Temple's muzzle but was careful not to wake her up. HE said lovingly but quietly "You are beautiful and I am just greedy and selfish. I don't deserve something as special as you are. I have demons in my past that haunt me and I don't to expose you to them. I don't know what to do now. I am confused and lost and I need help. I wish I could just leave and never see you again but that would be the death of me and if I stay then I'll hurt you more and that would be the death of me also. What should I do Temple? What should I do?"
