"I'm going to go to the lake," Rue said shortly. She needed time to think and let her worries out, but she would like to be alone when she did.

"I wnat to come! I want to go swimming!" Tess cried, running up.

"Not this time," Rue said.

"Erm...not yet," Setsuko said uncomfortably. She had been around there enough for one day.

Rue spread her wings, the air tugging at her feathers. She was soon landing near the lake shore.

Seeing Rue fly off, Setsuko groaned inwardly. She opened her glider and followed.

Rue knew Setsuko was behind her, but ignored the fact, folding in her wings. She leaned against a tree, the damp bark pressing into her feathers.

Setsuko was taken by surprise when Rue stopped so suddenly. She halted as quickly as we could. Walking under the tree her friend sat in, she called, "Where exactly are you going??"

"I'm not going anywhere. I just need to think," Rue said.

"Oh!" Replied Setsuko. "So I should leave you alone then?" Though contrary to her words, she took off again, landing next to Rue in the tree. She lowered her voice. "Or do I need to join you?"

"Do whichever you like. Although Tariq and Kuilak will be left alone with the kids again." She managed to crack a smile.

"Oh, they can manage for a bit longer," Setsuko said slightly teasingly. She laughed, picturing the scene.

Rue's small grin widened. "Knowing Tariq, I'm not so sure about that."

Setsuko's expression grew slightly concerned. "I could go back, if you need me to," She offered.

"You can stay if you want," Rue replied. Now that she thought about, company wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Setsuko shrugged. "Your call."

"It really depends on how Tariq and Kuilak are handling being left along with the kids again," Rue said. "If you think you should go, go. I don't really care which one ou choose."
