Tails controlled the plane and jaggedly handled the controls until he found the island beneath him. "There!" he cried out, pointing happily. He chuckled out of happiness and landed the plane, then opening the hatch, allowing everyone to get out.

Shadow looked at Tails. "Bite-size genius probably does." he commented.
Tails smiled and hopped in the back of the plane, digging through objects and devices until he finally found something that looked like a megaphone. "Here!" he exclaimed. "It's like a metal detector, but it searches for heat and bodily fluids underground instead. Perfect for detecting Eggman's 'secret lairs'." he handed it to Mirai. "Don't drop it!" he warned.

Mirai nodded and took it. "Don't worry, unless that monster breaks it, we'll be fine." he said, begining to search around and finally detected something. "I think I found it! Its a monster anyway."

"Yeah, but it might attack me." said Knuckle. "Oh well, we've been attacked before." he said, jumpping into the air and digging into the ground at high speeds. After a few moments, he was shot back out of the hole. "I think its mad."
Gakuma erupted from underground with a viscious roar of rage, ready to attack.

Shadow cracked his knuckles. "This is nothing." he said to himself. He gritted his teeth, then shouted, "Chaos Spear!" and hurled a green lightning bolt at the monster.

Shadow got blasted back, hitting the ground hard. He growled at the pain and stood back up, nodding to Maria.
Maria held out the Battlenizer flat in her palm. "It's time, Earthron!" she exclaimed.
Earthron's card flew out, his picture scanning on the Battlenizer, then striking it like a match and there appeared the monster, already knowing what to do. He charged at the rival monster, roaring and ducking his head, pointing his horn at it.

Gakuma roared out and charged, trying to godge Earthtron with his horns.
"Uh Shadow." said Sora. "Your legs are covered it rock." she said, that was what Gakuma's beam did, it didn't kill, it coated what it hit in stone.

Shadow looked down at his legs and gasped, trying to move them. "You're right!" he said worriedly. He wrestled with the stone covering, but it was no use. He couldn't move them.
Earthron jabbed Gakuma in the stomach with his horn, then swung his leg under Gakuma's to trip him.

Gakuma roared out, falling to the ground. He caused his claws to grow and took a slash at Earthtron.
