"Nothing," she mumbled, barely able to refrain from snapping at him again. The anger, while subsiding somewhat, was still there. At David's questioning look, she sighed. "Really, it was nothing. I dunno...I just got all angry all of sudden, and I don't know why. All that had happened was Ozhu had asked if I needed to see Boulder."

"And do you?" David asked. Silversnow shot him a pointed look. "Right, of course not," he added quickly. Something about the way he said it - his expression maybe - shed a small ray of light on the storm clouds in her mind. A small smile spread across her face, and David relaxed fractionally, glad the anger had dissipated.
