"Look, things have gotten out of hand." said Kira. "We all know we never meant to take this this far." she said. "We got in over our head. We've now got a chance to make things right and have land of our own with deer to hunt." she said. "And we're going to take it, now apologize to the wolves for all you've done."

"I know this may be a suprise but desperation can make you do some crazy things." said Kira. "We came here starving, its not easy to hunt when wolves are normally not happy to have large predatory felines on their turf." she said. "So that kinda made us not too fond of wolves, none of them ever tried to talk, just tried to drive us off." she said. "So we decided we had to force you to let us, and kidnapped the pups to do that...but we were too weak to catch actuel prey, so we decided to attack you and we got carried away." she said. "Like I said, desperation can make you nutz."
Alex looked to Suki, figuring she knew waht desperation could do to someone.

Yeah, but I didn;t go around killing wolves because of it. Suki argued back. "I can understand what you went through," she said to Kira, looking at her paws. "I turned kinda bitter after my parents were kills and I was banished from my pack. It's not easy being alone an dknow that someone one tried to kill you."
