Cassie smiled and walked done the stair with him. She only wished that she the only medicine, that she would be able to make all of this go away.

It all happened so fast, Cassie was still standing on the top of the stairs, staring down at Zane with wide eyes, for a good few seconds before she ran after him. She kneelt down beside him, never stopping calling out his name in various volumes and tones from a panicy shout to a disbelieved whisper.
Cody had been in the front room, staring out a window, and thinking of Aerion, when he heard a crash. When he arrived at the scene, Cassie had just ran down the stairs to Zane's side. Cody quickly ran to Zane and said, "Zane, are you okay?" He wanted to make sure Zane was conscious before moving him. If he broke something, moving him might make it even worse.

Cassie looked at Cody, silently asking what they were supposed to do.
"Lets get you to the couch, at least," Cody said, mostly to Cassie than to Zane. He gently picked Zane up and carried him to the nearst couch and laid him down. "Now, don't move much. I think you'll be just fine by the end of the day." Werewolves healed more quickly than any human, so these were just small scratches to a werewolf, though they still hurt.

Bic:// Cassie looked down and moved back from Zane a little as he yelled. She didn't want to admit, but seeing him angry scared her. She would take on any of the males hear, and she had dealt with their yelling before, but with Zane it was different.
"Stop your complaining," Cody called over his shoulder as he went to the kitchen. "I''ll get you some ice, you baby." He said the last part quietly to himseld just as he grabbed on ice pack from the fridge. He came back and handed it to Zane. "Happy?" he asked.

Cody sighed as he went back into the kitched and into the cupboard to find some gauze to wrap Zane's leg in. He gabbed a box and lifted himelf u from his crouch and hit his head on lower shelf. He cursed under his breath and rubbed the back of his head as he made his way back to the living room.
